unable to escape a foundry mission

Abandoning quest and logging out didn't work, had to log out and leave the game for a bit before instance disappeared and i returned to the enclave.

So if a badly written foundry traps you in a room, is there an easy way to get out?

    Yes, there's an icon in the lower left corner of your minimap. It's a "leave instance" button. Yes, a lot of them seem to have that issue.
