Thinking from a Rogue persepctive me and my friend had and we are still having a great time playing PvP.
Rogue style, in a team of 5 with 2 rogues on your side all is god for a while.
A rogues damage is good enough to take someone down fast.
Having fun and trying our skills we got to this thing one evening.
Have fun and tell me what you think about rogue power in PvP in the present times here :

IMHO, two rogues playing together is one of the most annoying combos to face. That's twice the dazes and burst damage one has to look out for.
I admit I didn't watch the whole video though, just 5 minutes of it.
I get my PvP fix in the lower brackets now, where things are actually more fun. But as for level 60, right now, this is about the worst PvP experience I ever had in a MMO at max level. Still early, though, and I'm optimistic that we'll see changes.
But it is all right, it's a PvE game and I enjoy the PvE aspect tremendously. I do understand why people afk for their 8k AD a day, though. It's better to afk than to become resentful toward other people.
I 100% agree with this sadly. Can already see at level 50+ PvP that it's not gonna get any better, esp knowing the enchantments that people will be using in lvl 60 PvP. I'm 2 levels away and I'm unhappy about it. Shouldn't getting the max level be a happy moment? Instead it's going to kill off a lot of fun that I got from PvPing. The best thing for this game would be to remove the option to form a team outside of queueing up. This game's success is way too dependant on playing with a group of friends (5+) - something that only the nerd circle of MMO fans will manage to maintain in the long run. That's not exactly a large portion of the playerbase, which the game creators should not cater for IMO.
A lot of things would improve if everyone would have to queue alone to do PvP/dungeons.
- Much less annoying spam in the Zone chat (example: 'LF1M Cleric must have 498495845 gear score'). And yes, a team can survive without clerics in it. Go PvP, you'll learn how to dodge and use your abilities lol.
- PvE queues would be a lot faster. Atm you can wait half an hour in a queue without a result. It completely takes the rush out of it imo, I am going to either be too distracted in those 30 minutes or grow too bored waiting it out. Result: complete failure.
- Will enlarge the chance to be pleasantly surprised by a person with awesome gear who's on your team. Imagine, random team, check out this rogue....ermagerd, T1 gear and max enchantments! Woot!
- More balance. Don't get me wrong, you're still likely going to lose vs 2 clerics and their OP blue shield + 3 CW's which are way too OP considering all the perks that they have, but atleast it'll reduce the chance of premade teams who all know how to play the game vs a bunch of randoms that all pile mid and forget about 1 and 3 or don't fight inside the zones. It is NOT fun to be the only one who knows how to play the domination game in your group vs 5 that all know how to play it lol.
Should only make organized group play possible for guild vs guild or something. That would ensure the part where everyone knows what he/she's doing rather than only 1 team knowing what to do. Oh and lastly, might I remind you that this is not WoW where teaming up (joining a clan) to get the endgame gear is mandatory. If you enjoy that so much then please go back to WoW - this is Neverwinter, and I don't recall having to mingle/look for a clan to be able to enjoy that game fully (such as NWN). The genre has a bigger chance of succeeding by staying true to its concept rather than becoming a clone of existing MMO's that people are fed up with of playing (tis why they're playing this in the first place, lolWoW). It's nice that you can play this game alongside other people but it should definitely not become the case where joining a clan is an absolute must to be able to obtain the endgame gear in a timely fashion.
