PvP damage get nerfed? or GF pvp damage?

My lunging strike tooltip says 2830 damage when in town, when I go into pvp match same gear on it drops down to 2000.

Im lvl 44 now.

But the thing is 2 days ago I bought the lvl 38 epic unicorn weapon off the AH and I was bouncing around killing fools in 3 swings, its lvl 60 damage on a lvl 38 weapon, check unicorn seal vendor. It was insane damage and today It's taking me 3 min to kill a **** single cleric.

They either nerfed all pvp damage, GF pvp damage, or that OP weapons pvp damage.

Anyone notice anything? anyone else using that weapon on a lowbie and see a difference?

    I noticed that on my CW my tooltip dmg gets cut in half in pvp, so yeah I think there's some kind of dmg reduction.

    YA but is it new or was in doing that 2 days ago, my damage is wayyyy down compared to then.

    even when I was 40 in the 49 bracket I was murdering folks by the thousands

    There is a post on Reddit saying that PvP autolevel scaling breaks skills.

    There is also a bug thread with this issue, please bump it.
