A different launcher problem

When launching the patcher, something on my top left corner appears:

A few moments later, this one appears:

I already read this thread, this problem is an odd one. Maintenance was complete, am I right?

    Happening to me too, re-downloading the fixed exe didn't work

    there is a fix for that if you read the launcher thread.... you have to download a new neverwinter.exe from the link they provide.

    downloading the exe worked for me

    As I said, I've read that thread already. I've downloaded the new exe and played just few hours ago before I went to sleep.

    Same problem for me aswell , i downloaded the new exe, worked once now i got the problem again, replacing the exe ain t working again ..

    same here.
    replaced it with the 'updated' file, managed to get in and play for a bit before I had to boot off.
    Load it up again and the same error.

    I had the same issue few minutes ago, re-re-placed the exe and got that error a few times, after about 6 tries it loaded. Guessing just the server load?

    Hard truth: Only few are checking the bug thread.

    Putting it here means getting more attention for people who are having the same issue and for anyone who are willing to help. I'm only writing threads that does not belong to general discussion when it is urgent.

    The people who need to see this thread are reading the bug report forum(the techs). Posting it in general will get you more player views, but it doesn't guarantee any notice by those who can actually fix the problem.

    This morning after I woke up I had the same problem, I reinstalled the game and it's starts the launcher again (for me) It's now patching the game hopefully it still works when it's patched :)

    Hope this works for you guys with the same problem, good luck!

    EDIT: Game is patched and running again.

    Similar problem here, except that I get 2 tries.
    I was playing before and then my line dropped the connection. after my modem resync I tired to restart the game and got this error.

    My Solution:
    delete the contents of "<install location>\Neverwinter\Live\cache" folder - launcher works again

    great, can you log off now and log in again and see if you get the same problem again? i mean thier update 7 fix worked for me last night, then this morning the same patcher error...

    redownloading the entire game isn't an option for me at this time, as some of us have bandwidth limitations.
