Adventurers Helper Pack Profession kits not working

They appear in your inventory in packs of 5 as one would expect...however when you attempt to use them to gather the resources its as if they are not there....I bought a few in game and those work just fine, but alll of those I bought with real cash do not. :(
If your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.
