Been posting here a bit lately and haven't really introduced myself. So I gathered I should probably fix that...
I'm a trainee teacher and work in the London area. I'm also a professional animator, illustrator and graphic designer. I love animals, and my favourite pastime is performing on stage; I act, sing, dance and play the piano and clarinet.
I've always been a gamer but am fairly new to the MMO scene, having played my first just two years ago. I got into RPGs over ten years ago though, thanks to Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights. Besides RPGs I really love point n click adventure games (FYI the title of this thread is a reference to a Monkey Island game) but I enjoy a variety of different game genres.
I got involved with closed beta as a TL2 pre-orderer, but was so impressed with the game so far that I purchased the Guardian pack just before BW3 began. I was invited to a closed beta of another game a few months ago but couldn't run it due to it being incompatible with my machine, and this is my first real closed beta experience (that hasn't crashed on me). I've had fun and look forward to open beta.
