No archer class

Is this true, no archer class, at launch? Then When?:mad:

    I've heard that people have datamined values for a ranger class, so I expect that to be the archer class at somepoint.
    Given that it and the warlock where kinda leaked and known about for a bit, and the seeming feel that warlocks are coming soon. (currently classless cloth items are droping, heavily hinting that they are nearly done with implementing features for the warlock)
    Its more than likely going to be soonish at least.

    I think the current trouble with defining that class is it has been notorious for being a multi-weapons thing, having melee and ranged often in stories. Or simply just getting it to feel unique and balanced with its ranged dps.

    Hopefully soon though.

    well if no archer class i will not be playing.. sadly wasted my money... at least i have 15+ other games i can play...

    I am sorry but you seriously paid $200 without checking out what classes would be out for launch?

    every game has had a healer, a caster, a sword and an archer, why oh why not have all those... it is my fault i anticipated and ASSUMED, and got screwed

    you do realize there will be an archer class eventually, and many other classes are just as fun. But yeah, at the current time only 4 classes are known, I dunno what you expected to have happen. Its been a long long time since i've seen a proper mmo "archer' most end up being vanilla regurgitation of the Wow Hunter class. I think the only real memory of a solid archer setup was in ultima and that was mostly just skilling up bows.

    archer ranger has been datamined , will be coming after the game goes live.

    very disappointing, but atm, can't even get into the game despite being told "issue is resolved" So starting to think they need another 6 months to work on the game to get it up to speed.
