As many of you may know, this Sunday is DST, in which we will set our clocks 1 hour forward. According to the post, Beta Weekend will end 11:59pm PST, essentially midnight. I'm curious as to whether they will extend this by an hour or will we just lose out on an hour of playtime?
No we dont have DST it was an act that passed in 1966, and it gets confusing keeping up with everyone elses times. come sunday we will finally be the same as pst.
Lol, well even if Arizona doesn't recognize DST, California does. Which is where the servers are located I believe. So, in other words the beta for people in Arizona will end an hour earlier than announced.
haha we dont lose an hour we still have the same amount of in game time as everyone else. Right now it's 10:38 in cali it will be one here for me when beta starts. I'm not losing any in game time we all exist on the same time plane i believe. lol

I didn't say you will lose an hour just because you're in Arizona. I meant EVERYONE will lose an hour of game time because of the location of the server setting the clocks forward an hour.
What's the discussion about? At 12 PST, the servers close. I believe DST goes forward at midnight sunday if I'm not mistaken. No lost time.
Fairly certain clocks get set forward early Sunday. Like 1am or 2am early Sunday.

If you stop to go to the bathroom or eat you lose that time. So don't to make up for the DST loss. Please, consult your physician or nurse practioner before making this decision.

Same in Indiana. I believe they dont recognize DST.
I wish Texas would do this. See, more than 100 years ago, someone came up with something called the incandescent light bulb. Since then, we've improved upon that technology to make it more energy-efficient, and we've even come up with other technologies to replace it.
Daylight Savings Time was great back when Ben Franklin came up with it. Now, it's an unnecessary pain in the ***. First-world nations don't really need it anymore.

At a casual glance from the announcement of 12pn 3/8 to 11:59pm 3/10 one might think servers will be up for 60 hours minus any maintenance time. Because of DST, servers will be up for 59 hours. For the record time changes at 2am Sunday morning. Personally I will just sacrife an hour of sleep and call it even.

I'm pretty sure Arizona observes DST as well, so I don't think that will help.
Edit: Or according to the Arizona resident above me, they don't.
Well, what are you waiting for?
Start boxing your stuff!
