Anyone played Witcher 2? Seen how Journal is made there?
In Witcher 2 the journal is written by Dandelion, a bard. Instead of a quest info like go there and see that, talk to that, you get a story. Telling how Geralt felt, what he did and what he discovered.
But the best things is... after you finish the game... you can print the whole story that your actions and choices created
Like a book. That's definitely something I would like to see
Next thing I would like to see monster archive, read descriptions and stories about monster and characters I defeated. The same with locations. It would enhance the "exploration" part of the game.
Instead of caring books, I would like them to be a part of my journal after I acquire some book or scroll.
I would like to be able to write my own notes in the journal, much like it was in Nwn 2.
