Celestial enchantments for those that don't have bound enchantments?

lordmaniklordmanik Member Posts: 141 Arc User
I don't have any bound enchantments and don't plan on binding them. My enchantments are mythic and can't upgrade further. I would like to have the ability to upgrade them without having to bind them. Thanks.

What you want to ask is to have unbound Celestial enchantment but there is no unbound Celestial enchantment. If the end product is bound, does it matter if the original is bound or not?

If the original is unbound, the end product stays unbound. And it matters because I'm not always going to have the same enchantment. I might want to swap for a different one later. There's also been new enchantments coming out each mod. So I could swap for new ones. These are reasons why I'll never bind my enchantments. I'm happy to keep it at mythic, but it seems unfair for us who do not wish to bind their enchantments to be locked out of an upgrade.

I think that's a reasonable position to have... especially now that we have dual and triple stat enchantments to use.

When they released the celestial enchantments (and in the preceding discussion in the preview threads) it sounded like the developers wanted to allow unbound celestials, but ran into difficulties with the implementation that they couldn't overcome before the release date.

I don't think it's clear whether they intend to go back and have another go...

Which then raises the question about celestial everything else... will it all be bound at max level?
Or is it just enchantments because of the account wide trade in feature?

If the original is unbound, the end product SHOULD stay unbound IF your 'original' means enchantment. Other kind of upgrade usually would bound the end product item.
However, they did not allow unbound Celestial enchantment. Hence, this end product is bound. Or, since you can't make unbound Celestial enchantment, for your sake, they don't allow upgrading unbound Mythic.

It is not about swapping because you can always swap regardless if it is bound or not. It is about selling and buying.

Fair or not depends on the point of view. Some would say they paid the price to be bound to get Celestial enchantment and account wide but losing the option to sell. Cryptic would say (quietly to themselves) they can get more money.

I'm not asking for your opinion. I'm giving my feedback for the devs to see. Another player has said that they tried to, but had difficulties to get it to work, so I will take that as my answer. I don't understand what you're trying to say, but yes when I say swap, I mean to sell it and buy another one or make another one.

You should read my comment again. My point of view was clearly indicated. Any other point of view is irrelevant to what I'm talking about. I understand it's good for those with multiple characters and such to have account wide enchantments. That's good.
