I love it when people bang-on about 'free-to-play', as if that in some way addresses all the bugs and errors we have to deal with.
Go download unreal engine and see how long it takes you to build a free mmo game similar to neverwinter with no bugs than come back and say how developers don't address bugs and how free to play means nothing
I don't know how long you've been playing Neverwinter Online, but I've been playing since the first year it was around and ever since it more or less started, when someone complains about the bad way it's occasionally run or things the devs do not bother doing this or that and end-up disappointing everyone, someone else invariably pops-up on the forum saying "it's free to play shut up" which in no way addresses the concerns people have about things broken or decisions made which make the players feel like cr@p. What you are doing is nothing new, we've seen it all before. But it doesn't address any of the specific concerns players have, it's just a cop-out statement.
P.S. I'm not even addressing the fact that people usually feel the need to pay real money to keep up with others in the game and for most of the playerbase, free-to-play does not apply because they're paying customers. We have often said over the years that yes, it is technically correct that it's free-to-play, however you can discuss for days and even weeks on all the reasons it usually isn't a free-to-play model in real terms. Free-to-play is the selling point they use to get people to start playing, but once they do start, they soon find out it's not going to give them a very good game experience. There are outliers to this, some people who swear black and blue they never spent one cent on the game over many years, that's great for them if true, but overall you need to spend to keep up with everyone else and be competitive.
Another person not getting my point, and instead putting words in my mouth I didn't say 'its free to play so shut up", but whatever I'm not getting into a debate with someone who chooses to blatantly misrepresent me. Free to play is just part of my point and it's not even saying its free to play so shut up, it's about not being a total HAMSTER to the developers but what ever I don't need the headache of conversing with people who choose to put words in my mouth and remove the original context

1) I don't really think the devs read the forums outside of things relating to preview. It's the only place they respond.
2) The other side of the coin is that Cryptic (and by default, the devs) are pretty much thumbing their noses at the player base because none of the bugs that get pointed out (for years, even) are worth the time/effort/bandwidth to attempt fixing. Things got broke before, they got fixed, and then a later patch broke them again. And they've stayed broken. That isn't acceptable. Except to Cryptic.
Everything that goes wrong in the game that gets reported, to one extent or another, IS game breaking. As I pointed out above, if it is in the players' benefit, but wrong, it gets fixed ASAP. Can't have the players' getting an advantage.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

@jana#2651 I believe this was explained previously, but what you are experiencing is not a bug, but a fundamental mechanic of demogorgon. First, don't stand in the red. Demo gives stacks of madness that build up disabling power. Standing in the red is a sure way to get too many stacks super fast. Second, when you get to about 13 stacks, go stand in a blue sanity well for a second, it will clear the stacks, and free your powers for use again.
If you still can't understand from my description, contact me in game at @krevg and I'd be happy organize a run to show you inside the trial.

I did understand the answer, and did get demogorgon on the rq and it worked, I played to the end without getting stuck and looking stupid. Thank you for the offer Krevg of showing me. I got it now, I am amazed I ever got to the end without knowing that, and now I know why I didn't very often. Thanks again everyone!

The many faulty aoes during boss battles as well as the holes in the walls across multiple dungeons that seem to have been multiplying.... CR is most infamous at the moment but many other dungeons too suffer from floating or lowered aoe mechanics causing them to be nearly invisible or slightly shifted compared to their actual position. the holes in the wals just look buggy or outright bad and seem to multiply every so often... at this point i feel like teaching people how to swap instance or use /stuck or /defeatme to fix certain bugs as simply logging out and back in is not always your best pick as solution. Generally hope namy of these will get a quick overhaul, remake or in depth look to fix them back up as these dungeons can be a lot of fun, when the mechanics dont seem to funk you over. im also pretty certain the spellplagues Nothic eye is supposed to target the one with agro with its stun eye, not a random player. this makes being a tank during spellplague feel absolutely useless for more than half of the run.

He made this thread: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1267344/demogorgon-trial-needs-super-fixing on the same day (July 2) he made the post you referenced to. He got his answere and 'accepted' it few days later.
