Replay an instance?

Is it possible to replay an instance? I'd like to go back and replay one or more of the instances in some of the areas, for example, Throne of Idris in Ebon Downs.

I assumed that the gates would still be there when I returned, but it doesn't look like the gates are open if you don't have the quest.

I don't expect the quest rewards again. but anyway... Just like to do it again.

Lots of searching turned up nothing.

Other MMOs I've played do not lock dungeons / instances behind once only quests.

    Once you've done the story, all you can do is use the dungeon queue.

    You can always make an alt an run them through the story line

    You can enter with another player that has the quest. It should be possible that they can then leave both instance and party so you can go alone, if you choose. It would be nice to be able to replay the leveling quests, since many of them have rewards that aren't available and in my case, my characters did the zones long ago and can't run the new versions for the quest rewards (specifically appearance items.)

    Oh the things I threw away years ago when bags were smaller and space was expensive...
    appearance items were a luxury then, as were alternative sets of armour and weapons.
    Not to mention companions and mounts. No libraries or stables.

    Some I regret and some I have forgotten I'm sure...
