Connection to the login server timed out

A few months ago I was suffering these disconnections while switching toons. It could happen every 1-3 switching. After two weeks or so, it stopped... until a few days ago, when it started again. I wouldn't mind retyping my pass now and then, but it's a big PITA for the actual invoking per toon system, now multiply that for dozen of toons or so... :s
Anyone else having this issue?

    I get this quite frequently when going through a VPN. Still need to figure out which ones work best. ATM I'm using London, UK and have little to no issues. But seems very random tbh. Had this issue before VPN and on some days it works on others it's horrible. Over the years there have been several issues connecting to the Cryptic game servers and the best support you'll probably get is sending in a trace and getting the answer that the issue is not on their end.

    So all you can do is experiment a bit with proxies (maybe your IP even offers some) and VPNs and see what locations (or the routing to the game servers) works best for you.
