Proposed Change To The Events Store

Regarding the participation tab under the appointment-styled events store, I propose all the event-exclusive items be added under the Participation tab, because if we are grinding out the event each day, we will be earning those tokens, so it makes sense we would be able to CHOOSE what we would like for our efforts instead of having to deal with RNG which causes player burnout and reduces the fun experienced which these events are supposed to be all about right; an escape from the day-to-day grind.

For example, given the upcoming Siege of Neverwinter event; the griffon used to be 14 days of grinding, so if we convert this to the new appointment-styled system, that would be 2 weeks of grinding, first week gives 1 token of participation per day, 2nd week gives 2 tokens of participation a day, so after 2 weeks you should have 21 tokens of participation which you can exchange for the mount; in my opinion that is a fair exchange, and gives us even more reason to use the participation tokens that, at least in my case, are piling up with nothing to spend on.

The pack system, that introduces RNG in order to get the rewards from the events, is not fun, it does not ensure you're able to get exactly what you need from the event, as you'll most likely end up with a ton of duplicate items. That's just how RNG works, and without a stopgap measure like for example with TOMM/ZCM weapons where you at least get scrolls so that after 20 runs you can buy a weapon of your CHOICE, you could farm 100's of packs and still not get what you need, whereas the next player gets lucky after 3 pulls; RNG for you!

To clarify, this isn't about not wanting to grind for rewards; I am perfectly happy to grind out hours upon hours towards something. What I'm not okay with is spending countless hours getting nothing in return, or pushing on hoping I get lucky as the hours add up which is essentially gambling.

I'm gonna just be lazy and say "ditto," because I could not agree more.

I do agree that the 14 day get your reward at the end is really good.....farm out what you want from the event and if you want to get more items then by all means keep going. The Gond style of event has turned me off to to those type of events, hopefully the new siege won't be completely pack opening and we can still buy what we came to get.

I agree. That would let us actually choose instead of relying on luck and it's fun to grind for too when we can see the items in the store and how much they cost. We know what we're aiming for and how many days/hours it requires. Also that's a better usage of Participation tokens.

The vendor is a much better way of giving the rewards than the rng.

Even if the rewards from the vender bind (and can't be unbound with tokens) it still is a better way to have it than the rng.

And please add the dyes to the participation store at least.
