Party member bind

kurka5555kurka5555 Member Posts: 20 Arc User
Hello, i'm looking for some binds to target party member 1,2 etc, I know there is some bind for that where you can pass the party members names and save in commands file. Any help on that ?

    Point your reticle at them and hit something.

    It was probably someone in PvP what complained it was an unfair advantage or something. :trollface:

    I am vaguely curious, why do you need to target members in your own party?

    Just killing time...

    Check the tag in the OP, it says heal.

    Wendy knows the keybinds better than I do, she passed this on;

    Neverwinter\Live\localdata

    Edit or create the CommandAliases.txt with these lines.

    alias lock "bind ctrl unlock $$ hardtargetlock 1"
    alias unlock "bind ctrl lock $$ hardtargetlock 0"

    Start it up with typing /unlock in your chat. This will make your CTRL key a toggle instead of press and hold to lock any target you look at including players, monsters, and companions. If you lock on to the wrong person just tap CTRL again to unlock. While locked on the target you can follow healing them as you go.

    Edit: she said you might need to do /unbind ctrl before /unlock in your chat. Once you get it set the way you like save your keybinds.

    I suspect they changed it as console players are unable to use keybinds. It previously gave healers a significant edge on PC and would skew any comparisons on class functionality.

    Thanks all for respond. I need it for healer targeting, sometimes i'm playing on xbox controller and was curios if there is any way to bind some keys to target party memebers. Even on keyboard+mouse it is hard sometimes to target party member in the crown of enemies.
