You have to bind it...those companions are tradable. Once bound, you can reclaim it as many times as you want. I have the companion set and have given out 2 sets.

Be very wary of this! I'm not falling for that one again. Got a second bundle for my daughter to give her last year that was "tradeable", then they did an update and both the first and second bundles became bound to me. So it was wasted. Unfortunately, Tech support only said that since I bound the first set to me, the second set bound as well. No resolution.
Just want people to know this is a potential outcome you may experience.
