Stronghold Beasts Heroic retreating enemies

When fighting this HE the enemies now have a tendcy to run off before coming into the HE zone. There is a mob of Hezrous just off to the side of them where they thought they could hide! I know it's Beasts HE but I'm not liking the new enemy called Scaredy Cats!
In the screen shot you'll see the loot off to the side, this is where they run to. If you don't see them go, the HE can not progress until the Hezrous kill them. I'm not sure what happens if the Scaredy Cats win this battle, they could tether or they could remain, I look next time and watch the epic battle go down!
Seems as I wrote this the HE popped again. If I get close, those enemies aggro on me over hezrous without engaging. If I stay away the epic battle continues. In this instance, the beasts won their battle, returned to me, and had their asses kicked properly.
