Module 20 Rewards Adjustments

Hey everyone,

With the newly released Combat Ratings Rework, we’ve heard your feedback about our Module 20 Rewards offerings, and have been working on improving them to be more in-line with the recent changes. There will also be additional rewards that will come out in the next Episode, so keep tuned in for that!

The following changes are subject to change, as it is still under development, and some changes may or may not yet be available on Preview, depending on the time and build that is on the server.

The changes are as followed:

Gear
The Forest Guardian equipment has had a level increase to 1500 and some rating adjustments.

The Collections entries for these items should change as soon as we get our next few Preview builds in, so feel free to check them out!
For brevity, these are the bonuses that are on the Forest Guardian pieces:

Head: Fey Hunter: +5% Damage in all of Sharandar.
Body: Leader’s Awareness: Gain 1500 Awareness for each player in your team.
Arms: Death Defier’s Accuracy: Gain 500 Accuracy for each Enemy you are engaged in.
Feet: Charged Mastery: When your Stamina is over 75%, your Combat Advantage is increased by 7500.

Artifacts
Sparkling Fey Emblem now grants the following at the maximum rank:
- Sparkling Fey Emblem artifact now grants a portion of its Item Level to Forte, instead of Power.
- Allies gain 5% Defense and 5% Critical Avoidance.
- Foes will take 5% more damage.
- The Set bonus is now "Trickster's Gift": Gain up to 10% additional damage or healing based on the difference between the hit point percentage between the player and the target.

The Refulgent Diamond Pin now grants the following at the maximum rank:
- Decreases damage enemies deal by 5% for 15 seconds.
- Combat Advantage gain has been increased to 7.5%.
- The Set bonus is now “Dashing Decoy”: When you stand still for 3 seconds, you take 5% less damage and your Awareness is increased by 5%. You also generate additional threat by 10%.

    What good is a +5% bonus in all of Sharandar if we'll be done the campaign before we obtain it. Will it work in the new dungeon. If it does, because it's scaled content. I'll get what i want and never go back. I'll have no use for the helm.

    The armor is tank oriented, the arms give a fluctuating stacking effect that is only useful in specific circumstances. So it looks like for DPS, it's get the boots and done.

    I'm sure you wont be done with the Campaign, before you obtain it. The gear will work in the new dungeon, the same way the Halaster gear with % damage in Undermountain works in ToMM and LoMM.

    Just like with Avernus, there will be more content after the dungeon. What we see of M20 right now, is not all we are getting.

    I prefer the old bonuses. Only the boots are an improvement.

    I had planned to replace all my blessed gear with forest guardian. Same stats. Same bonuses. Build already done. But now that idea is ruined and i would have to start my build all over to make the guardian gear work. The gear is trash now. Nothing but Ilevel that will just be scaled away. Wow.

    I get that. But I'll get the boots and I'm done. I don't do scaled content. I didn't upgrade to be downgraded. I know you are a streamer and you make income from the game. But this is my opinion. I don't like it.
    But the unscaled content is Sharandar, we have more episodes of Sharandar coming, meaning more content, and a reworked skirmish, that may or may not be scaled. We aren't talking about scaled content at all here. I'm only disagreeing with the premise that your opinion is based on. The Helm would be useless in scaled content, that is 100% true.

    What I mean is I don't do scaled content other than that which is required to obtain what I desire. Once I obtain it, I no longer do that content. I got my Tomm weapons on my 7th training run. I never finished training and I never went back. If my item level falls below 54k, I'm not interested in that content beyond the bare minimum required to complete it. I'll complete the Sharandar campaign like I did in Avernus and I'll never go back. I don't like being nerfed (scaled) in content. When that happens it spoils the whole experience for me and makes what should be fun, feel like work.

    Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining because I hate the game. I'm complaining because I love it and I hate what they did to it.

    I don't want to quit. I want them to fix it.

    Interesting. After many of us have undone our radiant unbound's to exchange them for other enchants happens this change. Then they don't understand why players give up the game.

    Wait... you're changing it to become another Demon set? So it somehow will stay BIS for the next 10 mods? Also you've turn the Pin set bonus to where it's good for tanks only? This is ridiculous. I prefered the old set bonuses. I was totally going to go for the Pin set which was an upgrade of Halster's but now I guess I'll have to go for the same set which every DPS will go for because it's BIS and will probably stay that way. Nothing for people who want varied playstyle or don't like sticking to a "Meta"

I prefered the old set bonuses. I was totally going to go for the Pin set which was an upgrade of Halster's but now I guess I'll have to go for the same set which every DPS will go for because it's BIS and will probably stay that way. Nothing for people who want varied playstyle or don't like sticking to a "Meta"

    There goes my recharge build. I'll be forced into this set and I'll have to let go of one my heart of the dragon artis, rendering them all useless. As a wiz a have to use the envenomed journal as active. It's like they are pushing me out the door.

    It's not the change. it's the last minute nature of it.

    I've already prepared a build to maximize my damage, control and recharge speed. It's ruined if I equip this gear. But if I don't equip it, I will be at a disadvantage and building it was a waste of time and many million AD.

    It's the last minute nature of the change. Not the change itself. I've already designed and built my toon spending MANY millions. Focusing on recharge speed, control and DPS. Wearing this set wreck my build. Not wearing it defeats the purpose of making it.

    Actually it won't be BIS for rangers and cleric dps. Inherit danger bonus will be overall better for them. The demonlord's immortality set only averages around 3.5% damage on live server currently. Sure the item level boost will make it a bit better, but it won't beat the music box set for hunter/arbiter.

    What good is the additional Ilevel if ilevel is capped in the latest dungeon??

    I think you could Change the New Sharandar currency for the Stronghold coffer to give more, because at the moment you get only 1:1 and i think this is a bit to less maybe change it to 1:10? I would appreciate this, Thanks!

    First we have to unlock the dungeon. Then like tic only one drop per boss per week.

    I'll be done the 1st part of the campaign and maybe the 2nd too, before I get a single piece of forest guardian.

    Forest Guardian gear is months away from mod drop.

    /Feedback ok so i feel the info the devs are getting is rather misinterpreted or is being ignored. So myself as an end game player completely understand coming out with section based content with rewards like the blessed weapons for more casual players who can't complete content such as zariel. On the other hand I do not understand why you refuse to put decent rewards in the newest dungeon/trial for the end gamers. You have now done a combat change taking a lot of the game to a similar spot as the game was pre mod 16. This should in turn get players who quit mod 16 to return if there's content worth running. sadly there is not rewards worth running end game content so these players wont return. I will give you my experience from the last 2 mods of end game content costing players more ad to run then it rewards them. What happens is end game players complete the new content and the stop running it. This means the players that need a little help from end game players to complete content wont have the help and will get frustrated and stop playing the game. This then means since those second tear players where the ones helping people with content a couple mods old like tomm theres now no one to help the third tear down players. This trend continues and in the middle of every mod since your end game content is a astral diamond sink half your level 80 players play other games or at least play neverwinter much less, in turn making cryptic less money.

    So to some things up putting decent rewards even if there bound rewards in your newest content ( better rewards then content 2 mods old) keeps end gamers playing which keeps your community playing and makes you more money. keeping the players happier and making you more money seems like a win win to me so correct me if I'm wrong. That's my issue with m20 rewards not the bonuses on the gear from the campaign store......

    Also putting an IL cap on the newest dungeon takes away min/max builds and caters your newest end game content to the lower players. I promise this and the rewards will cause end game players like myself to not even play this mod.

    okay, let's see what we have

    feedback - gear
    Head: Fey Hunter: +5% Damage in all of Sharandar - good for dps
    Body: Leader’s Awareness: Gain 1500 Awareness for each player in your team - good for tanks
    Arms: Death Defier’s Accuracy: Gain 500 Accuracy for each Enemy you are engaged in - good for NO ONE
    Feet: Charged Mastery: When your Stamina is over 75%, your Combat Advantage is increased by 7500 - good for dps

    we have 2 items for dsp, 1 for tanks and 0 for healers as always
    pls, replace the bonus, which is useless for all classes, on arms, so that a thing that is necessary for healers appears


    for example...
    Arms: Gain 500 Outgoing Healing and 500 Incoming Healing for each player in your team
    or
    Arms: When your Stamina is over 75%, your Incoming and Outgoing Healing is increased by 2500

    why not? we really need it, we really want it
    give us (healers) more sense in farming new gear

    I guess I should be happy. Now with the new bonuses, I only want 1 piece of gear instead of 3. I did want the head, chest and arms. Now I just want the feet. Good. I should be permanently done with the dungeon a few weeks after it unlocks. I don't want the arms or the chest and I don't need the helm for a dungeon I never plan to return to after I get the boots and I don't need the helm for the campaign zone. The higher ilevel means nothing when it's just scaled away. This is good. The less time I have to spend in scaled dungeons the better.

    Unfortunately mate, endgame now only refers to Zariel and TOMM because any other content is scaled and your endgame character will have similar performance as a undergeared character in scaled content. Not only you don t have any incentive to run any of this scaled content because you will feel like anything you have done to upgrade your enchantments/insignias/collars will have no real impact in this scaled content, but you will also feel the pain of wasting 20-30minutes from your like completing the same piece of content you used to finish in 10-15 mins for same non-existent rng-ed rewards. Even if they will put better rewards in those dungeons this will generate another problems that I have mentioned here in a feedback thread. This will remove the incentive of gear progression and almost every enchantments will become useless because there is no point to upgrade if you don`t have any extra noticeable performance to justify the prices you pay and the fact that you can complete a dungeon in the same amount of time and get same rewards based on rng as an endgamer.

    How many people will spend millions or tens of millions of AD just to complete one or two dungeons in the whole game having this kind of rewards? How longer it will take to them to release other rights that will be better as TOMM rings? They already killed Celestial with is not even viable for tanks in scaled content. They have better options. How would you convince a tank to join Zariel Master?
