Shard of Greater Empowerment

The best one I know got less than 10 shards since the release of the collars.
Each character has 5 collars, each collar needs 250 shards. With best luck we need 60-80 years to upgrade 5 epic collars to mythic. Can anyone explain to me to logic behind such thing?

    When these were first released I got many, recently sold 30. In the past month, I've maybe seen 2. Just RNG I suspect.

    I wouldnt worry about it too much to be honest.

    When the rank 6 enchanting stones came out the top level guys farmed them with their low drop rate and tried very hard to keep the price fixed at 1,000,000 AD / each.

    Over the top guys get what they need and sell the extras, the effect trickles down and the price will eventually drop.

    The cost is just to high for most to go beyond Purple...and maybe one Legendary ( Like me). I have no hope to ever get 2 to Legendary much less 5, and to even consider Mythic.. NOT A BLOODY CHANCE, my 5 yr old granddaughter will graduate college before that happens..LOL.... but it is what it is.

    Shard of Greater Empowerment drop rate should be drastically increased and/or the option to purchase from Zen store the same as Companion and Mount Upgrade Tokens. Another option would be to purchase say 50 of them using Legacy Quest "Sybella's currency" to purchase them for the many players who can't afford Zen.
