make a way to tell which character have run Marauders

psychoticsatyrpsychoticsatyr Member Posts: 195 Arc User
Trying to level up a guild, and can't remember which of my 19 toons have run Marauders or not by the weekends. Is there an easier way than using a spreadsheet? somehow make a box tick or something that says you've already run it this week.

Strongholds are tough enough to level up.

Yes, that is pain of the back end. I established my own method (until something is done) is:
    Monday: 1st character
    Tuesday: 2nd character
    ....
    Saturday: 6th character
Sunday: Hmmmm! I only play 6 characters. So, I needed to take an educated guess.

Many years ago now....we invented these things called pens and, if i recall correctly, paper. yeah...paper. sounds about right. ;D

That requires one important skill: writing .... but we can do drawing instead if we know how to hold a pen. :)

like i said, i use a spreadsheet, but other games have such things included, it shouldn't be hard for a check box to be added to your character screen or something since they won't allow addons like other more popular games.

It would not be difficult to remove the 600 influence from the rewards for the Marauders event and attach them instead to a weekly quest from one of the Stronghold NPC's.

the game knows if you've already run Marauders on a toon or not, if you do it once you get the 600 influence, if you run it again you dont get the reward, so its there in the database. all it would take is a little QoL change to show this visually somewhere on a screen, or as a quest.
how about, like when ever you go to Caer Konig in icewind dale the game auto pushes the "Return on investment" quest into your journal, the game instead pushes a new quest for marauders into your journal when you load into your stronghold for the first time each week and each subsequent time afte that, unless youve completed it on that toon for the week.

I keep lots of spreadsheets on my characters... but nothing about Marauders.

I have a workbook titled "Character Status" with four pages on who is wearing what gear, enchantments, companions, etc.. I have another book just for the Companions. I have one for auction house prices and banked item values in my vaults. I had one for refinements but I dropped it.

I don't think anyone who makes this many spreadsheets will ever stop. I use these to calculate my plans before starting the game. Recently I set up a temporary sheet for the influence the guild is collecting. Looks like we will level up and start a new project on Thursday. Then I can delete the file. No, I try not to get too carried away with over analyzing a simple online game.

Have fun... making more spreadsheets! <3

I used to use a white board and magnets to keep track of which characters had run which AD weeklies.
