[UPDATE] Rare Instance Chest Rewards Temporarily Unavailable

Update

Feature is now live. Please see this follow up forum post for additional info.

Rare end chest rewards have temporarily been disabled for all Dungeons, Trials, and Skirmishes on both PC and console versions of Neverwinter.

Our team is hard at work finalizing a new system that will improve loot tables, which requires this temporary change for testing. We appreciate your patience and will provide more information as soon as possible.

    Do rare chest, include both chest at the end of specific dungeons, or rare chest as in the chest that require a special key? Could we get some additional information on this. Thank you.

    I believe they mean the rare end chest *rewards* (mounts, companions) were disabled, not the chest themselves. Many threads were created on the forum about this topic, but it was just a rumor until now.

    As per above, i think this change is already live since Milestone II. So collars probably will still drop.

    Can you please add the Bruenors Helm artifact to the loot tables? If we discarded this item 3, 4, or even 5 years ago, we are unable to attain it again. Thank you in advance.

    Shame I burned some reroll tokens. But it really blows for people who used AD to reroll.

    oh you guys with your whinging. don't you know we're not here to get rewards for the time we spend in game. we're here for the knowledge of a job well done. that warm fuzzy feeling that we were able to finish that dungeon/trial whatever.

    welcome to the future of neverwinter where instead of something good from the chest, we put ad into the chest.

    I for one, welcome my lizard overlords.

    Really? How is this not in the patch notes? How there is not a better comunication with players? Every effort you do to make your game better is automatically destroyed by your lack of communication.

    Wait, this is episode 3 thing if I understand correctly. Do we really have to wait until mid October to see the rare rewards coming back?

    A - Either they forgot

    or

    B - The needed to be that way on purpose to get data and now they will compare it the data that we all know. But, since a tiny amount of NW players ever come here the data will probably not actually be that reliable.

    and it's on top of the vip still has to pay fees in ah bug. they probably did it as a favor to us so we wouldn't waste all tha tmoney selling our drops on the ah when they were charging us all posting fees.

    This is absolutly disgusting....how can you do that and feel that it is acceptable to just post it like this on forums where only a % of players come. Wasted time, effort and money in doing this? This could be considered fraud, people have spent real world money on a chance to get rewards and they aren't even there.

    Hidden behind the hgh level of drops from the lockboxes now but still so underhanded its why i am considering leaving the game, others here are surely thinking the same.

    And what do we get for your mistakes? Nothing, you couldn't even say sorry in the post

    I usually think that if I can't add something useful to a discussion, it's better to stay quiet. But now I gotta say what the actual flying <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>? Are you guys completely incompetent? You don't stealthdisable loot in a game where loot is central to the experience. Bunch of amateurs.
