Where is a Reinforced Metal Rod?

award9award9 Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 87 Arc User
I checked the Glyphworks store (Alyssa Misdani in Vallenhas Keep), Quartermaster, Seal Store and Campaign Store. I found an Infused Metal Rod from the Bel fight and the Balanced Metal Rod is in the Glyphworks store. No Reinforced Metal Rod in sight and the tooltip wasn't helpful.

I am guessing it is another Watcher set fiasco. Not added to the game yet.

Pretty sure it's a drop from Bel

It could also be a rare drop from the insurgency BHE.. since the insurgency completes so fast these days many of those BHEs are never completed.

Thanks for the replies. If I see it anywhere I'll update this thread. Hopefully this Insurgency stuff can be sorted out quickly so we can see if it drops from them.

After patch, rod can drop from any Major/Minor HE in Avernus. Got mine from APE.

    Can confirm

Can confirm, the hairy little dude finally gave it up for me too. It only took about half a jungle (apx 50) to get him to give it up.

My friend and I ran an Ape and 5 minors, no drop for either of us. We will keep trying.

Be sure to check your inventory after each Heroic. The rod isn't in the rewards shown although it does show up on the HUD as with other irems recieved.

I tend to pick things up and, usually, there was a little gold hiding under the ape. After my fourth try, I, again, ran around on top of the dead ape and, instead of gold, picked up the rod. So it's just a drop that you have to grab.

Does this mean in a small HE, it could be on the ground somewhere from any of the mobs?

I can only assume that would be the case, since I only did it with the ape BHE.

It may be a little late to comment here but this is a great read for the topic in question.
