    After the infernal update the game launches and after the logo. it says patching 2 files in the corner of a black screen and stops there with the speed at 0. help please!

    Since mod 18 download, I have frequently experienced loss of movement (WASD) on my main character. I am using default keybinds btw. This seems to be related to vigorous battle engagements where I tend to spam at-will and encounter attacks. It has frequently occurred in Vallenhas during HE battles. I have only experienced it outside of the new zone once and that was with Tiamat Trial. When the movement keys become disabled I can still use dodge to do some limited movement until I exhaust stamina. If I exit the game using change character and comeback, movement is restored.

    On a possibly related concern, it seems as if the game is using more bandwidth now, though I am not sure how I can prove this. This is evidenced by others on my same network complaining about choppiness with streaming content. I see it with some frame loss during game play. Again this only started since mod 18 was activated.

    That just sounds like you were hit by (succubus, or any other) charm. However, fear and charm are not in Tia, that confuses me. Is it like you are held by a really short rubber band? That bug is over two years old now, it was introduced (along this CC effect) in Chult campaign.

    not really a bug so much as feedback but the new global map is very small especially on HD monitors any chance you could make the map full screen or at least zoomable for those of us who can't read tiny text well?

    Nasty TOMM Disconnect Bug:

    Today I ran a bunch of tower of the mad mage. In one of these runs, my entire TOMM group spontaneously disconnected as soon as halaster died. None of us got a chest for this run as a result. Apparently this bug happens all the time ever since mod 18 went live and it was also present on the preview server. One player said they had this bug happen to them 6 times today and another said it happened to them 3 times today. 

    We think the bug is caused when someone disconnects in the middle of a TOMM run. If anybody disconnects before the run ends, we are all given the boot at the end when halaster dies.

    The rest of the game's population didn't disconnect, it was only the people in TOMM runs.

    There were also a lot of weird frame delays/lag in these runs. I've been noticing it outside of TOMM too. 

    I'll also mention that some people had their loadout automatically retrained right after being disconnected by this TOMM bug. The tank in our group and one other player had to keep fixing their boons after getting disconnected.  

    We also have a couple theoretical work arounds we are going to try to avoid this bug with. 

    We are going to start kicking anyone who disconnects mid run out of the que group, hopefully this will prevent the bug. 

    We also may try telling people not to relog after getting disconnected.

    MOD 18 Loadouts Spontaneously Retraining After Free Retrain Has Already Been Spent:

    I have already spent the mod 18 free retrain token on multiple loadouts. But when I change between loadouts, I sometimes spontaneously receive unwanted free retrains, these retrains seem to activate themselves automatically and then I have to redo everything.

    My loadouts took a lot of time to set up and I'm sick to death of having to reassign everything whenever my loadouts decide to retrain themselves. Please fix asap!

    Weird Frame Delays/Lag, Especially When Inspecting Character Sheets:

    I've been noticing some weird frame delays/lag ever since mod 18 went live. The most noticeable example is everytime I try to inspect someone's character sheet, it takes forever to load and is super laggy as I flip through sheet pages or mouse over items.

    Earl The Chickenmancer and Erinyes of Avernus Companions:

    There are 2 new companions in the zen market right now but for some reason there is a "this character is unable to purchase this item" prompt when I look at them. Granted I have no zen but for all the other companions, I see a different prompt "not enough zen to purchase this item". There aren't any copies of these new companions on the auction house either.


    Why are we unable to buy these companions? Is it a bug that we can see them at all?

    Weird Mount Summoning Animation Freezes on my Fighter Tiefling Alt:

    My tiefling fighter has been having a weird visual bug with his mounts ever since mod 18 went live. Many of his mounts are frozen mid animation when he summons a mount. I first noticed it with his new griffon mount and many of his other mounts are also doing this. A few aren't bugged, the ones where the ground erupts in flames or a symbol on the ground appears (such as nightmare and hellfire engine) seem to work normally for him.

    My rogue halfling main is unaffected by this bug. Her mount summoning animations all work normally other than older bugs. There are some clipping issues on some mounts though.

    Edit: Nevermind about the hellfire engine working normally on fighter, it also has the bug, I forgot it was supposed to rise out of the ground as part of its summon animation.

    So the FPS dropping to very low levels has sprung up again, in a place that it wasn't just Friday. During a RTQ today with a premade group, we got codg. It was buggy from the very moment we entered, as 8 of our members where immediately transported from the purple "gather here" circle, while 2 got left behind somehow.
    We wiped to reset. The next run setup as normal, with all ten members being transported to the Elevator. During this portion however, when the groups of mobs started spawning together( before and in-between exploding skull and gelationous cube portions) My FPS rate dropped to maybe 1 or 2 a second. Could not contribute during this time. Several others where thrown out of the game and group at this same time.
    This definitely needs to be fixed ASAP, as a fps of 1 or 2 is bad enough when trying to inspect someone, but during a fight it makes it impossible to do anything but die. If the problem spreads further or becomes more pronounced it will become game-breaking. What makes this truly puzzling is that I can codg on friday with none of these issues.

    Thanks for the response. No it is not like being held by a rubber band. The WASD keys simply have no effect unless I double tap to activate dodge. It really is an annoying bug and renders me helpless at most inconvenient times.

    @skingdev#1102 your list does not include the correction of Bryn Shandar/Lonelywood/Cold Run Explorer Case pricing on 'The Generalist' menu. It should be corrected (3000 -> 1500 GM) to align with the pricing available from the 'Explorer Guild Captain' before the 2x GM event goes live on Thursday 1/30. See post with screenshots, page 1 of this thread.

    The patch did not fix this, it only removed the Undermountain items from the 'Explorer Guild Captain's menu.

    After a week of factory resets downloads and verifications mod 18 is still busted. I would like to thank neverwinter for a good year and a half of play. I will not be returning to the game. Hope you use the money i spent on the game to better fix the game but i doubt it. Afterall my current zen and VIP purchases cannot be recovered or used. Too bad i thought wizards actually got something right for a change

    Hi brewald, I am looking into these issues, however I am not seeing an issue with the Golden Watcher's set as it appears to be granting the correct amount of stats. On which class did you encounter this problem with the watcher's set, and is there any further information you can provide?

    First time doing Restore the Devils Hold Glyphworks "Find a Pick in the Ruins" and I cannot interact with the pick

    Berserker's Might from Infernal Offering Helm occasionally keeps returning player to combat stance after all enemies have been slain. (periodically adding and removing 400 Power)

    Haven't passed thru it all that much, but you can be put Permanently
    into Combat Mode
    while in the area of the castle's training dummies.
    (Similar to when it happened on the ice floes.)

    First time it happened I think I jumped off the higher area by the dummies,
    second time was from talking to the Blacksmith. Not sure of the trigger.
    It may not be directly related to those actions.

    Only leaving the game fixes it.

    ALSO: One spot of silver can't be interacted with from any angle. (2429,5249)

    Yeti mobs display a very large red zone while doing their delf buff rage emote. It appears visually similar to the red zone from the boss in the Avernus Demonic Summoning HE. Yeti red zone does nothing as the self buff doesn't have any effect on players. It may be the radius where the buff is shared with other mobs.

    scaling issues;
    as a warlock soulweaver our power/crit ratio gets wasted. by different percentages by different dungeon instances.
    check that out. on pc.

    as mentioned, it's a _scaling_ issue.

    New Issues and Status

    • Unbound bag of holding remaining unbound after M18 (Fixed in next patch)

    My Runic Bag of Holding and Improved Runic Bag of Holding in the inventory of character Flambeau, are still in equipped state. They were unequipped and just in inventory before M18 dropped and equpped them in the process of converting them to BoA.

    So, the patch did *not* resolve this problem from my perspective. They were unequipped, purchased with Zen from the market prior to M18 and I should be able to trade or sell them.
