Unable to progress undermountain

On 2 of my characters whilst undertaking the Risk Vs Reward, collect a runic etching quest I got disconnected whilst in the Master expedition, and as seems to always be the case when i got back in id been returned to the Yawning Portal.
This is irritating at the best of times as others have reported, but when it happens on that particular quest you also loose all your Runic currency resonances, and when you then go to a HE in the Undermountain you can no longer earn runic resonance, meaning you can never empower another rune in a Master dungeon, so can never open the end chest and complete this quest.
Ive run 8 toons through this, only the 2 toons that disconnected in the first run have this issue, the other 6 are working fine. Anyone know a work around?
