How can we discard a bound companion with the mod 16 system?

This needs to be looked into.

For example you have a white Man at Arms already bound to you. Then you find a sweet purple cheap on the AH or from a Lockbox. Looks like with the current system you're stuck with the white one because there's no way to delete him. All you can do is spend a ton of AD's or tokens to improve him.

Related issue: it is really easy to double-click on a companion in your inventory when moving it around. Doing so opens the "name your new companion" screen.

No way to exit out of this. Not good if it happens when your trying to auction off the companion that you dont want and end up binding it.

Can't players sell companions at a merchant or just drop them out of the inventory?

If not then one or the other method should be implemented...

Buy a Man at Arms for 5 Gold, sell to merchant when no longer needed for 50 Silver, something like that.

Double clicking on just about any item in your inventory will bring up the 'equip'/'name' option...

The only thing I can offer is after a while most players find it easier to not unintentionally double click on items, with experience.
