Note: We may have included patch notes for issues that were never present on Preview.
Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of fixes, but a snapshot of the many fixes we are doing.
Content and Environment
  • Boreworm shouldn’t get stuck.
Caverns of Karrundax
  • Karrundax flies down and attacks after the Wyrmlings are killed.
  • Runic Resonance can be collected while on the quest, Sphere of Influence to obtain Runic Etchings by completing Master Expeditions.
Combat and Powers
Item Power and Set Bonuses.
  • Deck of Few Things and Orb of Tiamat correctly reduced a foe's outgoing damage, based on the item level scaling.
  • Drift Globe artifact correctly debuffs the target. Decreasing power and critical strike, instead of boost it.
  • Eye of the Giant artifact Defense instead of resistance.
  • Manticore Talons artifact does damage and knockback at all ranks.
  • Numerous tooltip text updates.
  • Rune-Etched Orbs sold by Runemaster Sinye flavored has been updated to better reflect how they are gained.
  • Sparkly Slippers of Sloopna, tooltip buff mentions Awareness.
  • Tactical Enchantment gives incoming healing bonus for the utility slot.
Classes and Balance
  • Composed Insight gains bonus accuracy scaled with remaining stamina.
  • Oath of Devotion and Righteousness properly lower the amount of threat generated by the healing spells of Oathkeeper and Devout.
  • Paladin Aura of Protection, Aura of Wrath, Aura of Vengeance and Aura of Valor buff icon no longer flickers.
  • Ranger and Rogue powers have the projectile damage type where applicable.
  • Bounding Slam mistakenly granted additional action points based on the number of enemies hit.
  • Sprint now grants immunity for the first second it is held down. Similar to Warlock's shadowslip this effect cannot occur more than once every 3 seconds.
Barbarian (Blademaster)
  • Bloodspiller indicated the magnitude of Bloodletter was increased by more than the actual effect.
  • Divine Protection gives critical avoidance scaling with remaining divinity.
Cleric (Arbiter)
  • Perfect Balance no longer incorrectly grants multiple stacks of Radiant or Burning Shift upon hitting multiple enemies with some powers, instantly canceling the effect.
  • Cleave and Reave mistakenly granted additional action points based on the number of enemies hit.
Fighter (Dreadnaught)
  • Enduring Vengeance mistakenly granted a 60% damage bonus instead of a 5% damage bonus.
  • Roiling Hatred doesn’t return vengeance even if the fighter's vengeance is below 50%.
  • Seethe reduces the player's Stamina when channeled.
  • Weight of Vengeance increases the damage of Anvil of Doom or consume vengeance as indicated.
Fighter (Vanguard)
  • Anvil of Challenge properly causes Anvil of Doom to place the fighter at the top of the target's threat list.
  • Knight's Valor redirects damage as expected.
Paladin (Justicar)
  • Divine Touch under the feat Divine Reciprocation did not properly grant additional threat.
  • Sacred Shield increases stamina per hit.
  • Aspect of the Pack applies to teammates only.
  • Aspect of the Serpent ends 30 seconds after unslotting.
Ranger (Hunter)
  • Careful Attack’s range has increased to 80.
Ranger (Warden)
  • Call of the Storm’s buff icon is correctly named Lightning Enchanted Weapon.
  • Call of the Storm’s tooltip shows the radius of how far it extends.
Rogue (Whisperknife)
  • Path of the Blade hits the expected number of times.
  • Increased the cost of Shatter Spark by 1 soul spark.
Warlock (Soulweaver)
  • Essence Master correctly increases damage and healing with Essence Drain.
  • Life Bind tooltip references group instead of party.
  • Shatter Spark has been increased by 1 Soul Spark.
Warlock (Hellbringer)
  • Soul Scorch tooltip lists the range of 80’.
Items and Economy
  • Wiggins looks like a ghost instead of a zombie.
  • Tymora's Lucky Enchantment, Rank 6 has title name.
  • Tymora’s Lucky Enchantment tooltips are updated to match their actual percent effectiveness.
User Interface
  • Updated the localized text for FR, DE, RU, and IT locales.
Character Art, Effects and Audio
  • VFX pass
  • Major audio and VO pass.
  • New music mix for Undermountain login.
  • Number of character power SFX have been updated.

    On Fighter, Guarded Strike and Shield bash no longer seem to work after this update.

    so... no big balance patch for release? well R.I.P.
    Maybe in mod 17 you guys should finish the changes before send it live, Class balance is a nightmare and some DPS classes will not be acceptable in group content. Good job :)

    Nothing about the downscaling issue? U know the downscaling that makes the entire community unlike the game? Well i had enough… 4 yrs.. but its time to delete.. Being ignored one or two times OK, but this is not healthy anymore.. How more topics, YouTube video's etc u guys need to realize the people dont like the downscaling? Omg... Well im done.. Enough is enough… GL..

    No, they already stated that HAMSTER downscale system is WAI :(

    I look at the changes and can't get motivated to care. My DC is being stripped of her enchants/bonding stones for AD, since I don't see any reason to play her (since I'm not interested in playing a heal-bot, and already have dps toons to play that I like better). Most of the builds are boring and overly simplistic. So I'll do the campaign to get to 80 and take a break and finish varnishing the bed frame I was working on early today (since it actually is useful). It's kind of sad, I actually like the Undermountain campaign. I could finish the last half of Storm Kings Thunder or do Omu, but I don't see the point, give how pathetic the boons are.

    also, epics are giving 5k now. Scaling looks like less of a problem than the last patch. Still need testing tho.

    it doesn' tmatter since it's still all stripped away in lower zones.

    Don't understand why this is not mentioned in the patch notes but scaling is MASSIVELY different compared to before the patch! This is so important!

    i'd need the proof from what I could see it was MORE nerfed since earlier today when I logged in

    Scaling looks worse to me. Despite what the dev say Tong and Barovia limit you to rank 8s not 9s. In 80 content my Arp is 77k. I go to level 70 content and it hovers between 36k-41k. This cannot be WAI when I hit the required Arp for 80 content but and then over 20k short in all other content

    Taking a break from this game will come back in 4 months see if anyone's left

    You want a good example of scaling try and solo the merchant HE in barovia with the barbarians and see if you last longer than 10 seconds. My 22k il dreadnought got obliterated

    We found a bit of a dis-balance with boons today.
    Im sorry but Im running Russian version so Im not sure how its called in english.
    Last Master boon, if you look left to right its the 4th boon. If you take 3/3. Last rang REFLECTS 100% damage to an opponent.
    e.g. for instance im being an Arbiter, if i crit my FF for 100k, ill get 100k reflected in my face straight!!!

    Please something has to be done, cuz that is unacceptable in pvp!

    Hope u are kidding us all?...Gray Wolf Den(just for testing) with 5 19K chars and we get 1 shoted? .... so , i guess we can beg lvl 30 no, to bring us through 9 K dungeons. sorry folks, some is running complitly wrong an u dont get it.

    another patch but no scaling fix problem
    how about this. ask all devs who worked on this module. try do the new dungeon the mad wizard lair then compare it with ToNG,CN, and other lower dungeon.


    This is a crime toward most of veteran and old player spending time in the game but all of our progression just thrown away to trash bin in a matter of a second.

    If u thing scaling "its a pretty good" give us a proof.
    time on how long needed to kill mobs in lvl 71-73 zone (barovia,chult)
    time on finishing T2 T3 and T4 dungeon.
    time on finishing Raids.
    how much dmg we can facetank. (getting 1 shot by mobs is never fun)

    new dungeon is still missing from the que., stronghold mobs still have gold healthbars

    Fighter's shield is broken. Attacking with a raised shield (shift-key) is not longer possible.

    I soloed non-epic Temple of the Spider dungeon and Dread Legion skirmish with my 23k Vanguard, level 80 (barkshield enchant). Scaling is not an issue for survivability. But everything takes a lot longer. At-wills feel like not doing much. So it comes down to waiting for encounters too cool down. Which is boring! So boring!

    Trying CN was a different issue. While the first fight was possible, the second fight was not. Too many critters doing about 40k damage each. Nothing helped there. Neither block nor dig-in. Dead in a blink of an eye. Don't know whether a party of five with a healer will be of much help there.

    Using a cap for scaling seems like a very bad idea. As soon as the cap is reached progress is no longer possible. No matter what you try to improve, it won't help. That's a stupid system which also makes upgrading enchants pointless. Why to spend so many resources into upgrading stuff which does not help you in more than 95% of the content? Does not make any sense.
