where do you find the testamonies of the paladin to restore the armor? yes I am running a paladin level 70+++ ... not sure exactly what level it is ... but would love to be able to locate said items for restoration .. thanks in advance

You need to run Craddle of the Death God to get a chance for the testimonies, it is limitet to one/week and no guaranteed drop, so it might take some time, if you can run it (no offense).
My advice: Hunt in Barovia for superior stuff much more painlessly achieved and forget about the braves thingies. The helm and armor that drop from the one star hunts are very good for an OP. Not BiS, but they will serve you right for quite some timeBeware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master6
