I am so upset! I accidentally accepted the quest for the Protectors Jubilee event coin on my alt!!

mediamousemediamouse Member Posts: 8 Arc User
I did not realize that the quest I picked up would award the event coin to my alt and that it is BOUND to character. I have not accepted the reward (coin) but it seems it will only let this alt accept the coin. Is there anything I can do? I did not know that the coin would be bound to a certain character.

You should read the information page carefully for the event:

    https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/10922193

The instructions do say that the coin is BTC. However, most of the items in the rewards that you get with the coin are BTA so at least you'll be able to give those items to your other character. So you should still be ok in that regards.

If you're willing to risk losing out on the coin, you could try abandoning the quest and see if it becomes available on your other character...

@mantera47 I guess this year I relied on the other feeds too much for info. Well at least most of the items are not bound to character. Thanks for the info.

The rewards in the chest (except for the companion upgrade tokens) are bound to account. The upgrade tokens will go into your currency tab currently, but with mod 14 you will be able to move them between characters, so you didn't mess things up too badly.

Also to note - you will HAVE to do the rest of the days on that character now, as it will bug out if you try it on other characters.
My opinions are my own. I do not work for PWE or Cryptic. - Forum Rules - Protector's Enclave Discord - I play on Xbox

Really the only thing that is stuck to one character are the Protector's Figurines which go into the Other currencies.

I just realised something that I've done could be a horrible mistake. At the end of the event, we get the thankyou crate. It says the player gets it, and it's not clear if it has to be claimed on the character that got the coins, and what the bind status of the power points is. I'm doing the event on my main who has the full 124. I have alts that could use them.

@kreatyve can you check out how this works please ?

The character that did the coins will have to be the one to get the thank you crate. The Power Points should be bound to account. I'm pretty sure they will be like the item you can buy from the Zen store for Power Points, except account bound.

Not sure how that item works, does that mean all 10 have to be used on one character ?

I don't have an answer to that at the moment, I'm afraid. I'll try to get an answer for it.

Figurines are also another item in said "bound to character but items inside bound to account yada yad yada" that will not be shareable across toons. So if you were hoping to complete collections or get a unicorn on all characters by sharing the figurines, it will not be possible due to false information posted in event details

todays coin hasn't dropped either, had day one and two fine, but no day 3? hope this is sorted in the patch later, as all quests are done, and went to the garden as normal, and got 2 boxes, both full of stuff, but no day 3 coin
