Should I ask for a refund?

I've just bought VIP *RIGHT NOW* without the 15% offer.
A second later after paying I restart the launcher and read the news and... awwww...
I played NW back on launch and then abandoned it completely.
I came back here just out of curiosity 3 days ago and decided to play.
So, as a first time VIP what should I do now?
Should I ask for a refund and redo a VIP payment later (more like tomorrow)?
I didn't realize that downtime is so long, 4 hours means that I can't play today.
And saturday/sunday I won't be at home because of festivities, so there are another 2 days of non-playing...
I literally have 3 days less of playtime and payed without the 15% offer.

That was LITERALLY the worst moment to pay for VIP!
I'm so down now :( what should I do?

    if you had asked before you purchased . . . general advice would have been to wait . . .

    until you landed a 15% discount coupon from your daily prayers

    How many month of VIP are you talking about? If it is one month, you are talking about $1.50.

    The point is not about you missed the 'VIP sales" this weekend.
    The point is about you did not use 15% off coupon for anything in Zen store you can probably get everyday.

    I had a similar experience with a zen purchase bonus I bought max zen something like 2h before it kicked in thinking it was already running .. playing in Australian time zone messed me up a bit.

    there was nothing really they could help me with when I asked
    worth trying tho?
    this maybe different
    a lot of us have had to put similar stuff like that down to a learning experience a few different times
