Lifesteal severity and Lifesteal explaination?

Im building a Templock atm my lifesteal severity is 100%, I still can make this higher easy woth all the boons I have and other stuff. If I make it higher does it has any effects or not? Also my lifesteal is very low, do i need to increase this so i can get more health

    Lifesteal severity represents how much health you gain when lifesteal procs. Lifesteal represents how often you will steal health from an enemy.
    Increasing Lifesteal will increase your chances to steal health on each each hit.
    I think it's generally a better idea to focus on increasing your lifesteal before lifesteal severity.

    I don't believe Life Steal Severity does anything for a templock with Soul Bonding because you life steal 100% of the time and your life steal chance defines the amount of healing you are receiving.

    It would be nice if life steal severity increase the life steal stat by its amount, but I am pretty sure nothing like that is in place.

    Long story short, ignore it, get more life steal.
