    It's R12 bondings or you get no dungeon run invite whatsoever. Heck, not even a skirmish.

    I'm at 3.3K iL and can't find dungeon runs through the channels I'm in (save for a few from legit channels)
    I'm talking not even VT or ELOL. It is either HDPS (which means you gotta sport R12 bondings) or you don't get invited to a group.
    I've started pugging as of this weekend and can't even get invited through LFG in PE for Christ's sake

    @mimicking#6533 You gonna balance those out ?
    Or if you guys are afraid of the HAMSTER storm that's gonna break out if you touch them, at least buff augments and bring them up to par with bonding bearing companions.

    Worst bug at the moment is that when switching characters there are often "connection to server timed out" Even thou I just selected to change character. It can happen 2-3 times when logging 10 characters. But varies depending on time of the day and weekends. So it's clearly a server side bug. And from what I can read around, there are a LOT of people with that problem. Now I'm only an IT Supporter, so I cannot 100% say what's the problem with the server/network, but dang it if Cryptic should not have some server/network infrastructure people on the payroll. If this was happening in a normal company where the provider delivered SUCH a messy/bad network performance they would have been fired within a very short time. But aparrantly Cryptic does not know how to make the network performance better or they simply do not care.

    And why do they make areas where up to 40 people can be at the same time when it so often makes a lag fest. Now my PC is not bad. (i7-4790K, 16GB DDR3, M.2 SSD, GTX 1070 and 300/300mbit fiber internet) and still the game can drop to redicilous low framerate and lag like hell. Where it does not respond properly to the skills being used. But only in areas with a lot of players.

    A quest in Lonelywood named "Filling the Bellies" is just a... massacre.
    90% of the times i catch a fish, crabs spawn nearly instantly making me unable to pick it up, as it freezes the loot when they attack. Moreover, the spawn places where you can catch the fishes spawn maybe once for 30 mins?
    I can understand that quest has to be demanding for the reward to have worth, but hey, this is just over the edge.

    I've been doing it for two days, i could do it in 10 minutes if not 90% of the loot fishes i've lost cause of crabs or waiting for spots to actually appear as they clearly don't want to.

    Please, do something with it. That's just horrible, this quest made me quit the campaign for a long time.

    All I can say is look at the balance pass you just made on DCs to put on the test shard, then look at Devo paladin. Then tell me you dont feel even a little guilty.

    alc, just change the zone if the current zone became corrupted when you do fishing, kill them first before fishing.
    what they did with fishing holes is pure stupitiy and grossly bad design.

    @darthshanso I suggest you try your best to keep up and bypass as well. (i.e. "Let the Wookie[s] win.") When you get to the end, they're happy because they got what they want, and leave. Now you can go back for what you do. I did just that with The Cloak Tower, and was able to build both bonus chests. Granted, it took some time, was hardly worth it, and wasn't the experience I wanted either...but that's the best I can suggest so long as solo dungeons remain off the Cryptic radar. Happy pseudo-soloing!

    OK as a former WoW player with an NPC named after his first toon (Mingo in Ogri'la, have fun with my Bloodstained Fortunes), this game seems well-designed except you won't let Newbies talk in chat even after they get a mount?? I guess you don't understand the fact that Veterans helping Newbies is what keeps your player base solid. This game is going to die because of that stupid restriction....

    The reason why newbies can't talk in chat is because that way they prevent bots from spamming in chats... I'm not against it, and once you get at least one char through some questlines at around lvl 19 all your chars can talk in all channels from the beginning. NW has a sad history with gold and ad spammers, and even now it's struggling with beating mail spams.

    However the reason I'm here for is -> SKT. It's just depressing. I've completed it on my main (GWF), but now that I'm gearing an alt, a GF, I just can't do it. 80 days. 80 freaking days for one campaign... Can't you buff the amounts of supplies and secrets you need? Or at least the reputation! And especially the reclaimed runes. It literally takes months, and since I do dailies on 2 characters -> DC and GF, alongside doing the new campaign on my GWF and GF, it takes time and the idea that I will need almost 3 months, just doesn't let me look at that campaign, can't you increase the amounts of reputation at least a bit? 12-20 reputation per day and at least 8+ runes. Vonin isn't... THAT bad anymore but I won't get carried away because most people would want mod 10 to just poof out.
    Because for the moment, those dailies are nearly worthless, since they give just so so little.

    they need a sting ops to take out sellers' base and rest of IPs who breaks CoC and EULA, so they cant remake new reroll alts or new accounts.

    Fird, they need to redo or overhaul mod 10/mod 10.5, it is poorly planned content, trying to make us into minddead zombies for all that grinds. lot of players dont have patience and easily fed up as they go from grind to next grind for months and then realizing what the heck they do to us. time for going outside. we are too glued to monitors trying to catch a carrot that never be reachable.

    As much as you can argue about it, module 10 is a flop in many ways, and the loot from that module is... rather insulting.

    Since relic weapons are just THAT stupidly hard to get already, maybe make it POSSIBLE to get them at all (since DC nerf will make FBI and msva/nsva even harder and will most likely completely kill those dungeons anyway):

    WHY don't you make RELIC weapons require ONLY ONE of each mark instead of 5 OF EACH mark? Because currently it's just stupid. I just can't find another word to describe it.

    ALL THE WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT IN THE GAME need 1 of each greater mark (power, stab and union), which you can get in... less than an hour.

    RELIC WEAPONS NEED WEEKS. New weapons need an hour to get the upgrade materials, and I'm not talking about the people that most likely had tons of greater marks stacked and sitting in their banks. And you make us farm for weeks to get:

    10 of each mark, that work ONLY on two weapons, that are stupidly hard to get the right amounts of, that you need to farm for weeks, that TO FARM you actually need to spend hours FARMING OTHER STUFF (dailies, fish, BHEs).

    How did you not yet realise how ridiculous it is? How was this not implemented yet? You're about to announce mod 11.5 but you still have no idea how to fix something a module or several modules ago!!!

    :smiley: Upgrading relic weapons? I gave that up. I am just 3k, add to it Templock (and without r12 bondings!) = I have no chance to get to nSVA. As making all those marks would take me years I just simply prefer not to think about it.

    Back to the topick:
    The (!) and (?) quest marks need to be fixed, so those will become visible. Right now they mostly are not present and to have to orient yourself around just according to the map is simply wrong.
    One thing that just test my temper on daily basis is that small delay when you point on NPCs before you can interact with them. In more crowded places and laggy maps it is... frustrating.
    Similar unexplainable delay happens when you collect Profession task before you can rerun it again. (assume you collect the 3x something which is the cap for the specific task)
    What I feel sad about is related to bonding runestones - that those are the only end game option for your companion. I understand that something has to take the top place :smile: , but in DnD I would enjoy to have a choice. This way the second best is more than 3x worse (augment does not trigger additional effects on pet attack) and the other are even further behind.

    devs do have very short sights, and not seeing big picture, they created gap wider on haves and havenots and set up casino instead of rpg.
    i think reason they did, to block leechers since many players complained for months.

    many newer players find this game so much fun when they leveled so fast to 70 and bam! hit paywall, zone access requirements, and item level required, guess what, those newer players quit on frustrations and feeling robbed, older players are also upset with bait and switch and those just did closed thier wallets by not spending for VIP anymore, that may result of having someone in dev team get chopped.
    that didnt give us much choice, spend to help them or leave, we have told them many times, they doing wrong way.

    The new fashion (peasant clothes) introduced with the latest patch is plain--well, plain. The old one looked better, especially on female chars who could wear the body part as a kind of short dress and leave the pants in a bank slot. With the new body though, the underwear remains visible, and that looks just ugly. Please bring back the old peasant clothes or make them available for maybe 2-5 tarmalune bars.

    As a TR you can imagine my frustration when I see people complaining GWF needs more resistance and defense...
    A tank that can already outdamage pure dps and has much better defense and group viability .
    As a trickster our SOD is broken and maybe procs 1 of 3 times . We get one shotted by most trash mobs and our major defense is high lifesteal which doesn't work when everything one shots you.
    Then we have nothing special to bring to the group besides DPS which we are no longer kings of .
    Our armor is a step below silly putty .
    Then since most of our gear gives armor pen , crit ,power and defense
    we are already above 60% armor pen -useless we have 90% crit and get 100% from stealth anyway- useless
    Defense -always useless
    Power- after companions gift and mount and stronghold booms with 80k plus with diminishing returns .... not helpful either...
    So every tier adding more of the same useless stats does not help and leaves us even further behind other viable classes.
    Now as a handful of us can still top paingiver thru 100s of millions of AD and grinding it's getting harder each mod and a great TR to be on the level of an average GWF is sad.
    Now this is not a fix my class post just using it as an example of how class balancing and gear stats need to be seriously looked at..
    And when a dev said he felt TR was in a good place .... I spit Soda out of my nose laughing at how clueless they really are.
    To get in an end game run as a TR you must bribe someone or give love favors ...
    I feel gear needs to be seriously looked at as far as stat bonuses and what it gives ,I was happy to see visage,survivor wraps,blood soaked shirt, and others unique bonuses not just the same useless stats .
    The other thing is choices as far as builds ,...make all three trees viable as choices instead of one no brainer as most classes are all cookie cutter no choice right now .i.e. Full scoundrel build for rogues ..
    Executioner is the way now and sabo can be viable but third tree even a blind man wouldn't choose .
    As with most classes have only one real choice .. GWF ,TR, DC, GF,CW
    All one real path ..
    Sorry bout the length but I really want a dev to understand why we are soooo frustrated at the state of the game and blow up when we hear things are in a good place .. I don't know what place that is but I wouldn't want to live there!

    I see you're getting it wrong.

    GWF *does need more defense and resistance* but not the way you interpretate it. GWF is *intended* and quite literally *supposed* to be a tank. You know, we have a whole tank feat path - if followed grants def and res at the cost of high damage, sadly today "sentinel" paragon path just doesn't work, you won't last either way you try as a tank, that's why people are asking to buff it. because gwf IS a tank.

    Now about TR. TR is superior amongst any other class when it comes to burning down a boss (single target) from my experience. But of course, that just can't be enough. Then they're completely broken in pvp which I think should probably be completely deleted and started over...


    Then we have nothing special to bring to the group besides DPS which we are no longer kings of .

    If a class would be able to do everything (i.e. single target and groups damage /control) it would be broken.

    And if you would be "The kings of dps" then why should anyone even bother playing sw/gwf/hr?

    You're complaining about only one feat path? Well, DC, OP and GF are the only classes that actually have a choice between paths. Because all others have renegade(cw), destroyer(gwf), executioner(tr) and so on because they are their BiS. GF and DC can choose between 3 paths because all of them are useful in a great way at diff situations BUT they can't do all at once - no BiS path which means players get a role in the game...

    Tanks have more dps than you? lol

    However you are right about one important thing:

    Things are NOT okay in the game right now and it's important they notice that. At least notice...

    And TR on a single boss battle is no longer able to put up the numbers we once did simply because boss mechanics have changed a lot.. I.e. Area of effect moss bosses have now we can't just stand in there like a gwf and pound away.
    Also bosses teleport and move a lot now I.e. Swvbrg and FBI and rogues cannot deal dmg on the move sadly.

    And my point about viable builds is that there is not one other build for a TR besides executioner/scoundrel that can even come close even with our major skills ..SOD being broken and only proccing after 6 seconds when most things are already dead.
    And I do realize that other classes have similar issues
    But TR just brings nothing special to the group besides dps which others can do and offer something else as well I.e. CC ,offtanking,AOE
    Now I don't expect to be jack of all trades but currently no group wants a TR even a well geared great player,because other classes have much more to offer
    I won't even get started on pvp pvp is very broken
    And almost not fair as I can go 40-1 most matches and might get killed if I try matching against a GF .
    But you really can't die unless you screw up big time .
    But pvp is broken for all so that is what it is.

    Unless you main a TR you just can't understand .

    Makes me chuckle a little bit. I have... well I gave up recently, so had Scourge Warlock Temptation as my main character. Templock is technically a very good healer - lets say... up to the Castle Never. In Castle Never there is a hic in therms Templock can not heal if he can not deal dmg - and there is a part when Orcus is very resistant to dmg, but still has a solid punch. And past that? In more difficult scenarios I was simply useless, because I could not prevent others from dying. There is a reason why everyone is asking for DC, not for Templock. Without proper shielding/debuff healing becomes pointless as people are simply just dying, without appropriate buffs the advance through maps drags a lot.
    In late game Templock has nothing to offer. So take it from the bright side: you at least have the dps. :) There are people that chose paths that have exactly nothing to offer for late game groups. Not the "nothing except dps".

    As was already mentioned, most of the classes have unusable paths and some are still looking for the right niche in the game. It is a long run ahead.

    TRs are putting up high numbers, you just haven't figured how to do it yet.

    GWFs in end game content can not stand in the red and face tank without 3rd party help which would help everyone equally so this does not set GWF apart. More so, the TR has an immunity frame in its dodge roll when escaping the red, GWFs do not. GWFs might be more resilient in the 0-70 grind but we don't have the several AoE stuns that TRs have in their bag of tricks, or a stealth feature, or an immunity frame in their dodge.

    There's not more than 1 viable build (end game DPS) in a few classes. So how does this set TRs apart?

    Dont count the TR out. I do agree they need a rework to their other paths outside of MI Executioner. GWF is also looking for a rework to anything outside of SM Destroyer for 6 mods now. We play the cards we are dealt.

    I have a request to improve QOL on NW [and dunno if it's thr right place to do it, and I'm sorry if it isn't]: please, make a npc that can remove reinforce kits from armor/rings, or at least give us the option to do that! It's a huge investiment of time and AD [or only AD if you bought them from AH] and wasting it when new armor is acquired is just... stupid.

    Solo play is not rewarding, it is exclusively left for the grind. I risk to assume that a great majority of the people who run epic dungeons and Level 60/70 Skirmishes do so with their guild, as pugging group activities can lead to disaster. Personally, I rarely pug dungeon runs, because I want to know the people who are running the instances with me, or at least be part of the overall group, as in the case with the Alliance.

    Initially, the Foundry afforded people an opportunity to run dungeons solo, and gain daily RAD. My most favorite part of the game, and the portion of the game that separated NWO from the mass of MMORPG games that serve as competition was the Foundry to a great extent. The Foundry is all but gone... no assets to create, no AD to serve a purpose for others to play. While I understand that the reason the Foundry was removed as a resource to farm RAD was because of the publications that lead to easy RAD, running eToS 25 times in one night will also lead to an exorbitant amount of RAD. Please reintroduce the Foundry tools and the RAD that you could earn from running through Foundry publications.

    Otherwise, introduce more solo content that one can partake that will afford the opportunity to gain AD. We need more than just the weekly runs for a handful of various areas that produce a measily 4500 each per week.

    The damage from the CW needs a boost. At end game and high gear score levels, a GWF can produce 2.5x more damage than my CW at almost the same gear score, and it is not for a lack of skill on my part.

    I feel like we need more customization for our character, particularly with respect to the available equipment... there just isn't enough. Perhaps concoct even more gear, but balance that gear based on the needs of the avatar. Meaning, the Lifesilk armor only really benefits certain classes. The CW version should boost CS, not Recovery. Make the armor available for each class, but restat the armor to make it relevant for each class.

    Most importantly, the end game gear is really limited to SoMI artifact gear. While the River District has released new weapons, I was kind of disappointed that there was not restorable gear available as well similarly to SoMI. Perhaps introduce restorable gear perhaps a bit less powerful than the SoMI gear for the River District, while maintaining the same refinement that the weapon enjoys; i.e. require the special items for restoration and then regular resonance stones and marks for refinement.

    With respect to the introduction of more solo based content, I would like to see challenging solo play dungeons for end game character using standard HE mobs that a high level character could solo (perhaps with some difficulty unless the GS is greater than or close to 4k), but you could opt to party for an easier session. Perhaps instances similar to the Dread Ring instances, but using higher level mobs more akid to the traditional low level HEs from the Level 70 areas.

    Finally, when you partake in HEs in Icewind Dale, either the Dwarven area or the Pass, the higher the level of the HE, the better the rewards. However, when you participate in any HE in Well of Dragons you get the same HE rewards, regardless of whether the HE is a higher level more difficult HE. The rewards should scale with the level of the HE in Well of Dragons as it does in IceWind Dale. Perhaps also include Dragon Hoard drops in all HEs, not the coins, which are less effective to leveling the campaign.

    Top issue for me: I can't start a new thread as a new forum user, even in the bug reporting forum.

    Aside from that, I might have further issues (the topic of said new thread I would have started):

    Is the Beholder Tank in Portebello's "Artificer's Workshop" **supposed** to be un-clickable sometimes?

    I have had it un-clickable about 3 times so far, and it hasn't dropped anything about a dozen times.
    Is this normal, intended, behavior?

    OK i will talk about the power creep. Power creep is not only about the offensive stats but also for the big issue in the game called life steal. THis stat should never exist in first place. WE have classes with healing component on their powers also healing potions and you will make more viable your zen store( stone of health).
    THIS suggestion has a trade off you will need to make the monsters to deal damage based on players damage resistance and deflection and also that means you will remove the one shots.
    That way you will reward the smart gameplay such as avoiding attacks and while dealing damage keep an eye on monster behavior.
    THE situation at the moment is you can get many hits from monsters but you dont care because you lifesteal back that is not right.
    Also create dungeons brackets AT level 70 dungeons. AT 1600 dungeons ( could be 1600-1900 allowed to enter) a lot higher item level players they dont have any business here. THE point of this to make poeple learn the game. IF i go with my 2.5k character in that dungeon is more possible to destroy their fun and they will learn nothing. Wouldnt mind to have a rule that imust drop or put an alt in here at 1900 item level to help them.
    ADD also legendary dungeons with high quality rewards but with 40 minutes completion from a top team.
    AT the moment we see something very sad lower item level players lf for higher to get carried instead trying to work together and see how they can do the content.

    Hi guys

    Been enjoying this game for a while, and continue to do so. Even through there have crept some issues in over the years.

    1. Latency. I know you can't fix people's geographical locations, and it is probably not cost effective to have gateways. So without knowing the technical difficulty of this, but throwing out the idea anyway; Let the server make a ping check on a client as they enter a dungeon/instance, and us that latency as a variable on when the dangerous attack warnings appear. This will greatly help us with 300ms latency to play with glass cannons in master dungeons. At the moment we see incoming attacks almost half a second after it already happened.
    2. The next in list is a forward base in Spinward Rise. To give someone a ton of missions and then make them run back and forth over 2 maps, 2 missions at a time, is a bit too much I think.
    3. That's all the important things I can think of. I would like some more rewards in dungeon runs though. I think a lot of people, like me, have a budget of spending real money on games. This budget don't change. Only thing that changes is, the game I am having fun on at the time it comes to spending my moneys. Or alternatively, if you simply HAVE to be greedy, give more dungeon rewards for those purchasing VIP.

    Would like to see Armor Enchantments get a rework just like the WE did. Most are completely useless outside of aesthetics. Thank you in advance.

    It's R12 bondings or you get no dungeon run invite whatsoever. Heck, not even a skirmish.

    I'm at 3.3K iL and can't find dungeon runs through the channels I'm in (save for a few from legit channels)
    I'm talking not even VT or ELOL. It is either HDPS (which means you gotta sport R12 bondings) or you don't get invited to a group.
    I've started pugging as of this weekend and can't even get invited through LFG in PE for Christ's sake

    Or if you guys are afraid of the HAMSTER storm that's gonna break out if you touch them, at least buff augments and bring them up to par with bonding bearing companions.

    M8, tottaly agree. Now, it doesn't matter your class, if you have ilvl4k+bondingR12, you get invites like rain! And it's everywhere!!! FBI, N/MSva, Spellplague Master, CN, even Demogorgon fights! PPL went crazy with bondings...

    First of all there are many great weapon fighters who like the game and showing their support for the company by either buying very high amounts of zen (including me) or through other means like keeping in the game even though the class they like to play has multiple severe flaws that almost make "some options" of the class unplayable. And I think we as gwf players deserve at least " a moderate " attention.

    As many of gwf players already know, in pve only the destroyer path is viable; the viability does not come from it's desirability though it's thanks to swordmaster's playiblity, unbrokenness. Because both sentinel and instigator paths are plain broken; either tooltips not showing the true information or gains by choosing those paths does not meet game requirements.

    For example going sentinel does not make the gwf a tank; actually it's quite reverse... Because the marks and additional threat given by feats does not provide enough aggro on mobs and reduced outgoing damage compared to destroyer tree ensures other damage dealers to get focussed and hard hitted. So it is easy to say that the gwf does a better job tanking by going for the destroyer tree instead of going sentinel... This should not be intended since sm is dps and sentinel is tank; mechanics are clearly "broken".

    Let's look at the last remaining tree: Instigator. Upon checking this tree generates the idea of highly mobile, yet often hard hitted champion who stacks in damage resistance as long as he continually gets hitted. Maybe viable for Pvp, but in pve this will not work at all. For instances demogorgon for example, or tiamat's where the gwf is surrounded by legions of minions, constantly being hitted instigator may work but then again the gwf need to change his feats while fighting bosses which is impossible.

    The "unstoppable" skill is the core of playability in gwf. Yet neither in instigator, nor in sentinel there is clear indication regarding how determination is gained. Yes tooltip says "by taking damage, or either taking/giving damage", anyhow; because of the above reasons, upon testing one has to see that the gwf will not build determination he needs, eventually he will be left alone frustrated.

    Destroyer tree is the only working path for us. The formula for building determination is still unclear, most probably it's best built by giving out variable damage, high pitches of damage between s-low swings. Many of the feats will not give out the effects in descriptions. The effects will vary depending on some unknown factors. Even though swordmasters are at least "satisfying" damage dealers, they have to use almost all of their encounter powers to buff their at wills. If this is intended, please let's keep this intention for one tree only, provide us with some other options making encounter powers usable instead of them being only passives.

    Of course these apply for swordmaster path only... Iron Vanguard is left in the denizen's of mod 4 and I for one have no idea if he is going to return someday... Some people go for Iron Vanguard only to get the second mark from threatening rush . This should be telling something about how a complete paragon path is utterly wasted.

    Overall the idea of a raging berserker along with it's animations is the greatest fun. But this idea by it's mechanic wise, is not polished and almost "ruined" .
