Neverwinter has changed a lot since Fox Shifts nerf, and many of the HR community, were upset about the nerf which only allowed one enemy to be struck twice instead of four times. With other classes having abilities that do so much more damage than fox shift, I think this will help and please the HR community, If any game devs are reading this, I'd like you to watch this video for at least 2 minutes of your time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MLuzfje26w As you can see on this video, even though HR is designed around sustained damage, with all the mitigation, and healing from boons and gear, he hits the GWF over and over and over relentlessly, and getting no where; meanwhile, if the HR makes a mistake, the GWF easily obliterates his health. This high risk game play makes the sustained damage very weak in this game. So thus I propose the following votes. (I apologize for any punctual errors) Outside of this topic, there are other multiple things I would like to point out that is currently wrong with the HR.
1,Thorn strike says that it deals additional damage based on the targets health. I have tested this, and either the damage buff is tiny because I cannot notice the difference, or it isn't working as described, I request a fix for this, or a buff if it is working.
2, A small damage buff to split strike, I can appreciate it is an AoE, but it is completely outperformed by Clear The Ground, and Electric Shot.
3, Rain of Arrows, increase the radius of the skill shot, it's hard to find any use for it in PvE or PvP, because the radius is about the same size as a single target. Additionally, the DoT from Rain of Swords is so tiny it's not worth putting any damage on it, right now I am leveling another HR, it is currently level 50, and the DoT deals 50 damage per second, my rapid strike deals 428 damage per strike, that's over 8 times more damage!
That is all the issues I wished to discuss, despite the release soon with HR changes in module 10, this could wait for future opportunities, but combined with upcoming changes, the following things I suggested and the poll vote, these would put the HR in a good place.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
