Starting on June 30, players will honor Lliira, the goddess of joy, freedom and liberty by completing daily quests and setting off fireworks.

So it's a pointless event still? Wish that they'd try to make events like lilira/waukeen/tymora worth participating in like they did with the jubilee.

If this is a celebration of liberty, why can't we send Dagult Neverember to the guillotine? We want a constitution that protects Neverwinter citizens' rights!

Also, we should have a referendum about leaving the Lords' Alliance.

I just hope that some dev time was put into making the updated firework mechanics clear, to avoid last year's disastrous reception.

I'm ok with mostly giving this one a miss though. The major rewards were added to Simril gifts and are easy to get without grinding if you want them.

With the timing of the Jubilee and the Summer Festival having been moved up in the year (and it's actually a nice thing to *not* have a major event coinciding with a regular module launch window because that's been overwhelming in past years), Lliira's event is a bit lost for being sandwiched in the middle.

So every one is excited to buy another green mount, and more useless clutter for the inventory/bank?? Am i the only one who finds this lacklustre and pointless?? Just as the jubiless whose biggest rewards was Thrones to sit in??? Ofcourse, there maybe some stat augments to these thrones which i am completely missing

Forgive me... I forgot to engage the snark button. I MEANT to say... i'm looking forward to wasting another week chasing a bunch of rewards, which i'll probably never come close to achieving... not!

Is this the torturously messed up version of last year?
Or the passable one of two years ago?

I'd list all the problems with last year, but you should have a
file folder of print-outs that were used to fix things for this year.

Starting with the in-game rules not remotely matching what you
needed to (unrealistically) do. And those rules both not making
sense, and never actually being told to the players.

Do not simply 'hint' at new rules in a blog. Ever. Again.

Oh, and my gods, vastly overpriced mini prizes. Not spending
hours to get one steak or one dye pack.

...I really hope you fixed it. Truly.

It is kinda fun, just like the maskarade of liars... it is also a real grind. Don't expect to be able to run more than 1 toon thru & get the best rewards tier.

What is this all about? This is my first celebration of LLLLIriririauarea. Is that how you get more favors? As-is I don't know how you're supposed to get a starry panther in anything less than 5 celebrations.

It's hilarious that a player asks how to participate, and the hostess says
"Why nothing could simpler!" ...followed by four paragraphs.

On the upside, they do list how many you need to pile up.
Downside, they still Rank the players, which keeps last years confusion.
(As rank means nothing now.)

Still going to be people jamming 199 or 499 fireworks in, not realizing
how much of their lives were wasted.

(apologies for crankiness, but last years event actually depressed me)

Not that coupons are any kind of compelling reward at this point, but it appears that the coupons you can receive from the Lliira coupon surprise include all the discontinued fashion and companion coupons. Which isn't terribly surprising considering the Jubilee could drop Zen market coupons for fashion as well.

The NPC dialogue for firework contribution indicates 200 and 500 fireworks are what you need to put in personally, but isn't this cumulative by instance?

The event right now has make the game to be unplayable for me. I got a massive lag and rubberbanding after a loading screen followed by loading your character.

I was going to do this boring event just because i wanted the mount but after today i will be sitting this one out with all 6 of my characters. I got 1st place in the contest by putting in 100 of the fireworks and what was my reward.... 2 fireworks! This event is a waste of time there is no way of getting the 25 favors unless you are willing to spend money or do nothing but bore yourself to death by doing nothing but that contest for hours on end most likely not even then. Waste of time bring on the summer fest!

You need to put 200 in to guarantee a token... & fireworks are available in the AH

Gratz! Another Lliira's festival has come & gone... Didn't get enough favors for the mount, again. Maybe if I save up my AD the price will drop by the time I can afford it. Le sigh! Oh, well. There's always next year
