anyone else having problems logging into the game this morning? i just keep getting logging into account server then back to the main screen after a few minutes

You might need to restart the game. That helps me sometimes, and if not, you might need to restart your consoles (that includes turning on the power saver, which lets the console shut fully down). I've read that that helps.

But with how many people are having such issues (myself included, for the past three days in a row, ever since I started the game a few days ago), it's most likely their servers. We might just have to wait until they sort it out.

Also, the game's going to be down in about 40 minutes (at the time of this comment) for maintenance, and will last for about two hours, if my memory's correct. Hopefully, that will help with these issues.

Another thing you might try is to quit the game, then go to the manage option which allows you to delete temporary space, then restart Neverwinter.

If you do this while the game is running, the first attempt will only casue the game to quit and a second attempt will need to made to actually delete the temporary space.

I'm kinda having the same problem, except that I keep getting a message that tells me they couldn't get my latest save data, and asks if I'd like to try again or use offline. Anyone got a fix?

I have no idea what issues were present when this thread was originally made, but right now the server is down for scheduled maintenance and was just extended another hour yet until 10:00am Pacific (about 38 minutes more from the time of this post).

Starting around 10 p.m. PST last night there was a roughly a 2 hour period where users could not log in and were seeing the message "Connecting to account server timed out". After the account server was back in service the in-game chat was unavailable for long time.

While it is purely speculation on my part, I got the impression that the account server crashed and the chat server was reconfigured as a replacement for it. If that was the case, then I feel the IT staff did what they had to in order to get the game back online. Better to be able to play without chat than not at all.

Has been about 42 hours since I was last able to log into game. Never seen a game down so long. Smh
