Second Illusionist's Mask?

So today I finished refining the Illusionist's Mask I got at the beginning of the event, but when I opened a bag of treats after that, I got another Illusionist's Mask. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it. I can't get any more mementos that would be required to refine it (they're not available at the vendor for me anymore after I finished refining the first one). This happen to anybody else? Anybody have any ideas what I'm supposed to do with it?

    You don't care about the 2nd one. You can't equip both. It is char bound. You can't sell it. You can't use it as a refinement for another Artifact.
    The first one is useless. The 2nd one is even more useless. If you discard it, they will give you a new one again.

    For me, the first one wasn't useless. I had an empty artifact slot anyway, so it's definitely better than an empty slot.

    I got a second one last night also, which I thought was kind of strange.
    I tried dumping one of them into another artifact sigil... which wouldn't accept it as a refining object, though I didn't try an artifact equipment piece, but I have my doubts.

    Don't know what to do with this second one.

    Did the daily quests on 8 characters (all 70) assuming you could use the mask to refine a power artifact. And you can't?! What an amazingly disappointing addition to the Halloween event this was. A totally useless reward for a lot of time spent.

    Oh, but you get two of them......bah.

    I'm not a big fan of the way this item was implemented, but I can see how it would be a boon for players who didn't have tons of AD to buy more artifacts, or didn't have lots of alts to have other class artifacts unlocked. That being said, I wish it was made more clear about needing to get the artifact to blue in order to start buying the purple refining items, and that the stat selection was more desirable. Perhaps they could have given the masquerade bags a tiny chance of dropping the purple refining items and/or randomized the stats a big. This would have also made getting a new mask at least serve a purpose - perhaps the new one would have a different selection of stats or something...

    It's a bug and has been reported. Closing this down as we already have a thread on this issue.
