CTA: Orc Assault - Stronghold reward?

Can't tell if this is just the new screwed up norm or if it got missed...go to the Steward in Strongholds...Quest for CTA but all that is there in the description and rewards is "CTA Summary" or words to that effect. Complete the quest...i.e do a round of the CTA and go back to the Steward...Get the following..."Defeat the Orc Raiders" complete! and Resolved the quest "Defeat the Orc Raiders" and nothing else. Was there supposed to be some Stronghold reward? Or is this just another annoying no reward quest that is getting handed out.

    If you and your party are successful, you’ll be rewarded with some incredible items including an Armored Orc Wolf Companion, unique dyes, Cruel enchantments, and Medallions of Battle. Medallions of Battle can be redeemed in central Protector's Enclave for unique weapon transmutes, Refiner's Cache, and dyes.

    I think he was meaning xp or something given to your character by the steward in the stronghold, not the normal rewards from the chest at the end of the skirmish. And I suspect it is just another of those annoying quests that give no reward, just to get you to play the content only.

    Exactly, I was hoping there would be some sort of Stronghold specific items (like a voucher) given by the Steward, especially since it is on a timer instead of just a one time thing.

    The quest didn't appear to give me anything when I turned it in - I even check to see if it would play the little animation of gold/coppers/silvers being added to your total, but alas there was nothing.

    Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any reward attached to the quest to do the active CTA given by Master Tomos, unless you count that we now know is name. Shhh. ;)

    It seems they put the quest just a reminder and one more way to push us to farm useless events.No SMOPs from refiners cache.Really guys dont you have a list where to implement new items?

    It seems evident that the quest is just a placeholder that they never got around to actually doing anything with. It only says things like "CTA Event Description", which just screams "the programmer put this in as a placeholder/reminder and then everyone went to Togo's instead of actually finishing the job". Typical half-baked Neverwinter.
