So we're supposed to have a cap of 7200 AD per day on top of the bonus for the first 2 runs.
I ran dungeons 5 times today after the patch. The first 2 runs went as they described - I got my 3000 bonus AD automatically. But the next 3 runs I only got 280 AD...automatically. Nothing else on the ground. I was under the impression that the drop rate would be variable until will hit the daily cap of 7200AD. The third run was done a half a day later.
If the drop rate is going to be fixed at 280 AD then we will never hit our daily cap since it would require running 26 dungeons.
Has anyone else been getting the same results?

I haven't run enough dungeons yet to figure out what the "bonus" AD amounts are for each dungeon, but I get 173 rAD in nToS.
The rAD drops directly to your wallet.
I haven't tried the epic dungeons yet. PUGs don't interest me there lol. But in the regular CC I'm getting the 3000 rAD for the first 2 runs and 280 rAD for the rest of the runs.
Prior to the patch, I was getting a different amount of rAD on each run ranging from 0 to 4000 rAD. This includes my VIP bonus and in the logs it was multiple entries per run (e.g. 1000, 85, 150, 1000, 85, 150 all in one run). Now it's 1 entry. 3000 in the first 2 runs. 280 in any subsequent runs.
Edit: As for the rewards from different dungeons: I get (3000 + bonus) * 1.15 because I'm VIP. Factoring out the 15% VIP bonus and the 3000 rAD reward for the first two runs I get the following bonus values:
--nToS: 150 rAD
--eLoL: 400 rAD
--eToS: 550 rAD
I would be interested in hearing values for other dungeons.
But, I digress.
The real point here is that this may NOT be a bug and may be intentional because Cryptic seems to be so intent on stopping everyone from creating mass rAD of any kind recently.
Hence, the NEED for discussion to create AWARENESS of this potential new and undocumented rAD nerf.
Don't forget, each epic dungeon run should also net you 1 or more pieces of salvageable gear worth 3k - 5k rAD, as well as a chance at AH-worthy artifacts, etc., and seals you can turn into salvageable gear after you have outfitted all your alts.
I find running 3 epic dungeons nearly reaches or even exceeds the daily rAD limit, including salvaging and the 3k rAD I get from invoking. If I want a little more rAD, I just run 2 skirmishes.

Yes, that is what scott said and that is what was happening prior to the last patch. After the patch, I was only getting 280 rAD every run after the first 2 runs. How many times do I have to explain this?
I want to confirm that I'm the only one that just had a bad run of "luck" or that other players are also having the same experience after the patch.
Prior to the patch, I capped 7200 rAD within 5 runs on average. Now that's not possible.
I get 150 bonus rAD in nToS, 400 in eLoL, 550 in eToS (plus 15% for VIP).
I'm only getting 280 with the VIP bonus after finishing the first 2 runs. First 2 runs got the 3000+ each with VIP bonus. The third run got 280. The fourth run got 280. I waited 6 hours. The fifth run got 280. No randomness in the drop rate even after a 6 hour break. This feels like the variable drop rate is gone. Whether it's broken or intentional is my question assuming everyone else is noticing the same thing. So I'm trying to see if other players are experiencing this "issue".
I will try again this weekend and see if another day makes a difference.
I don't know why you're expecting randomness. The first two times you get 3000 + a set bonus for that dungeon (times 1.15 if you have VIP). Any runs after you only get the set bonus for that dungeon.
When goatshark said "Amount varies by time" I'm pretty sure he meant by the expected time to complete the dungeon -- so the epic dungeons give you a larger bonus than the normal ones. BUT, the bonus amount for a given dungeon is constant.
Your interpretation is nice, but it's just that - an interpretation. I prefer to get clarity from a Dev one way or the other.
Also, we know the eCC takes longer to finish than nCC, but Cryptic says, both them are estimated to take 30min to complete. Valindra's Tower is 45 min. So, how is Scott delineating how long each dungeon takes to complete? And therefore setting the amount of rAD per dungeon run?
It would appear then that darkstarcrash's interpretation is correct. Thank you.
58 rAD per whatever i am running. the lvl23 gets 105 rAD. All my other toon (i have 3) are 70, 60, 60. They will get 550 rAD-750rAD a run. I have done many time over. What you make is based on your lvl. And also you don't always get notified that you receive rAD, fineshed LOSQ with no rAD got done and had 1100 rAD. so if your lower toon are not make mutch it's do to there lvl.
I would love to see Cryptic put in an AD bonus for farming for Stronghold, Sharandar, Dread Ring, Well of Dragons, Icewind Dale instead of or in addition to what they've done.
