Out of the loop rogue looking for advice

I recently returned to neverwinter after I stopped playing back in december. My last experience with my rogue was that of a character that is very heavily dependent on stealth, with an above average damage output. Mine was a Whisper knife executioner using the corrupt black ice set. I would like to know if the rogue is more or less powerful, relatively speaking, and I would like for some advice regarding traits and class path, since I have a retraining token. Any advice would be much apreciated

    Get used to the fact that corrupt black ice... is garbage now... well not garbage. Usable until you hit 70, maybe... but the stats you need will be way too low. You may get one shot everywhere... because the monsters hit for about 20 to 30k damage in Drowned Shores

    Wk Exec is pretty broken... since they ninja nerfed Shadow of Demise. When I was a 70 Wk Exec I was doing exactly the same burst damage with Lashing Blade and SoD that I did when I was 13k gs at 60.

    Most TRs in this Mod have started to use Sabo instead.

    There just isn't much information on what TRs are using, aside from PVP. Most the videos and guides that I ~can find have TRs using MI/Exec. That's what I'm going while I level, but I admit, it isn't working for me. I can not finish the 3rd part of craptastic quests in RR because I am made of paper and everything smokes me. That, and every turn a HE pops on me.

    Hopefully some people will post in this thread with some decent leveling and endgame builds, because I have only seen a couple. Since you have to pay real life money to respec (stupid) it's kind of important to get it figured out early .
