the bag drops all those useless coupons, i dont care about them, i dont want them, and i delete them without reading. please make an option that automatically deletes that trash, to save my time and clicks on my mouse
afaik, coupons stack so you end up with at most 10 slots of random coupons which you cound throw away. stop nitpicking and let devs focus on more pressing matters.
I think this is annoying as well. This was obviously an attempt to promote Zen sales at the expense of player aggravation. Some of my toons have limited bag space, so I feel the pain, too.

cant i simply opt out from these shitbags, the character bound trash thats in there is not worth the bother, ill take just regular invoking without side dish of BS

Funny. When coupons were something I saw maybe once or twice a week, each one was greeted with interest. What's it for? If it was for a key or dyepacks, or the elusive "15% off anything", I'd almost certainly use it.
Two per character per day? The refinement item ones are welcome for the time being, but I'm going to get sick of throwing these things out.
Also, just want to bring up that the new store interface's way of handling coupons is horrible and seems purposely designed to make customers miss out on their discount so that customer service can tell them "too bad, so sad".
You need several tries to invoke, and you also need several tries to even add a discount coupon to your purchase... but buying single lockbox keys with a 40% discount is at least something.
Leaving the insatisfaction aside, doesnt the cupons already auto-delete after 1h? What exactly is the the issue here? Besides I'm seeing a lot of people throwing blessings like there is no tomorrow in PE. The update is one day old so how exactly would people have so many of those that it would fill their pockets anyway? Is there an exploit I am unaware of?
issue is that i usually save stuff like this for 2x on my alts, instead of opening it every time i get one, so stacking + coupons are an issue, its like those annoying HAMSTER that stuff your mailbox with thrash like that, at least they stop doing that once i offer them the chance to eat the coupons
Simple solution would be don't invoke, as it now comes with a coupon attached. I must say these coupons have made me spend more zen then I otherwise would have, so it's definitely working. It's also working that it doesn't apply the coupon by double clicking it like how it used to be.
Have the gear and skills, but lack the friends to play with? Come and apply for Essence of Aggression. We have been here and strong since beta. (Immature, rude, and arrogant people will not be accepted)
Invocation exp now stops scaling at 60 so either this is a bug or more intentional attacking leveling via invoking. Sorry don't want to play all my characters more than a dungeon a day. Also at 70 dungeon and skirmishes dont give nearly as much exp as they should for overflow exp.
Looks like more huge nerfs across the board with this patch.
Well, if this was made with the intention to get players to spend more... not with me.
I'm not buying more from the ZEN store, i'm even buying much less now, since i only buy something, if i get the fitting coupon for it.
Besides, with all those changes since module 6... why even bother to sink more cash into this game? Most of the changes drained a little bit, or sometimes a whole chunk, of fun right out of the game.
i hope whoever thought this was a good idea gets a job in apple, since i doubt i will ever buy anything from that company

I can sell lockboxes....Coupons only have anything remotely like redeeming value if you actually use them. Let me sell the frigging coupons, and then I'll consider them something other than spam trash...Coupons are such a PIA, even if you want to use them, they only have an hour to do so....nice when you get them in a frigging T2 dungeon where you are too busy for that hour trying to stay alive to use them. All in all one of the worst ideas brought to us lately....which is seriously bad considering all the other lovely ideas tossed our way in the last few months.
the reason lockboxes arent an issue is that they nicely stack and you can shove them in some deep corner of your bags and just replace stacks whenever a new lockbox comes out

Yes. My point was that even when you end up with 12 different stacks of lockboxes in the bank, they have value, even without keys. You can make fair coin trading in older lockboxes.
coupons shouldnt be in blessing/prayer/invokes.
they should be rare drops, now it seem as if they are now more cash grabs, and it look like they are "Very" desperate need of cash flow., and heck no, not spending until these mobs get back to pre-mod 6.

Handing out coupons like this removes their value. They were ment to be rare and give you a sense of urgency to spend Zen.
I can't understand what they were thinking with this, but to be honest it doesn't annoy me as much as it does with other people. I just discard them as soon as they drop.
As for spending money, I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon. That new Armored Strider mount made me regret every purchase I've ever made in this game.
I hate dancing with Lady Luck. She always steps on my toes.

Oh yeah, just like taking bags out the mail auto equips and auto binds them to you, next thing you know you ask customer support they tell you sorry brah no can do.
I wonder if there's anything they CAN do at all

I like the coupons. I stack the celestial bags and open them later, if i have zen stored i can buy stuff from the zen store cheaper.
+1.
The con is the Celestial bags do not stack. On the other hand, if they stack, they would create other problem such as opening many at once and kill the inventory instantly and I cannot even pray or buy from Z store because there is stuff in overflow bag. Since they don't stack, it forced me to open them when I have a few.
The pro is I do like the 15% off everything (good for P-Ward that I need) and 40% off for lockbox key.

This is how I do this to avoid missing coupon or buying stuff accidentally.
I keep all the Zen in exchange. My characters carry 0 Zen. If I need to buy something, I withdraw the right amount. For example, if I want to buy P-Ward and have a 15% off coupon, I withdraw 85 Zen. I will not able to buy the P-Ward without the coupon. If they can process the transaction, they should not get 1 Zen over 85 Zen from me.

It's a good thing they expire... can you imagine the giant floating yellow mass in the middle of the Trackless Sea from all those coupons people discard if it didn't?

It would be cool if the garbage we discard actually be shown on the ground instead of going to a void. We can build our golden brick road.

If you have any old bonus xp left you shouldn't invoke more than once a day either.
You have to decide if that "XP earned at a bonus" is worth missing out on as much as 2800AD per character per day and some random RP, as well as the actual XP gain. If you get through all your invokes, the last one gives as much XP as turning in 10 quests.
I decided it wasn't worth it. It would have potentially taken months to clear the 1.5 million bonus I had saved up on some character I don't play a lot, missing out on all their tangible rewards in the meanwhile.
You should not be getting a coupon in every bag. This will be fixed soon.
I didn't really think it was intentional, but good to have confirmed.
I think everyone would be very appreciative if you could take a look at the store interface making you select your coupon a second time after pulling up an item to buy. It's very user-unfriendly, and sometimes glitches so that you can't even select the coupon.

You can't even get a copper for a damned coupon.
