WoD : Quest problem!

Hey, ive started doing this WoD campaign.

I have quest "Factional assets" which says "Accept the quest from preceptor theraclast".

When i go talk to him, he gives me no quest.

Ive tried to abandon and re-accept it many times, without results.

Please help me!

    And cuz this ****** bug, i cant do anything in WoD because my questline here is "locked"

    This game has too many bugs, all the **** time. U should focus on bug fixes, not on new areas and modules.

    Is there anyone else with an exclamation mark to go talk to? You need to talk to several people there in that quest line.

    Steps
    • Speak to Fitzhugh Montgomery
    • Speak to Preceptor Theraclast
    • Speak to Lenu La'neral
    • Speak to Harper Boward
    • Speak to Delrin Bass
    • Speak to Merrisara Winterwhite
    • Speak to Shay Cutter
    • Speak to Sadesyl Morgia
    • Speak to Feldon Strongbeard
    • Return to Elminster

    Yea, ive spoken to all of them, and the last dude is this preceptor. And he stops me right away.

    If the last guy is the Preceptor Theraclast as you say, you're doing something wrong. As the Preceptor Theraclast is the second one you talk to. The last one is Feldon Strongbeard, who then sends you back to Elminster to turn it in.

    The preceptor dude is the only dude who has exclamation mark on his head. And the only quest i have is the factional assets. And i cant do it cuz this bug.

    I don't think he gives you an actual quest, you just engage in dialog with him and then when you get done talking to him, your objective sends you to the next person.

    Also, you're actually talking to him in the Well of Dragons, right? Not in Protector's Enclave. Him in PE is for the ToD campaign, not WoD specifically.

    Yea, but when i go speak to him, only option is 1. Goodbye , and the quest wont roll on.

    Also, you're actually talking to him in the Well of Dragons, right? Not in Protector's Enclave. Him in PE is for the ToD campaign, not WoD specifically.

    The problem is, i cant continue past preceptor. ive tried to talk to him 400000000 times, and no. I cant proceed. ive talked to every ******* person in this WoD

    Yea, in WoD. Not in PE.

    Looking for other reports, it sounds like this might be caused due to the abandoning of the quest. It was patched last month to make it so that quest could not be dropped but there's no patch to fix those already affected.

    You'll need to file a Support Ticket here, not as a bug report and choose Neverwinter as the Game and for the Category, choose:     Game Support > In-Game Issues > Gameplay Questions > Quests - Include your full character name along with the @handle that is affected, as well as that you're on the Dragon shard. Explain to them that you dropped the quest before the patch went through to make it un-droppable and now you still cannot proceed in the Introductory Quest Line for Well of Dragons.

    Alas, as this is Sunday, it may be a few days before they respond.

    I'd also leave out the indecent remarks that you've been posting here, as that will only get you in trouble, which I'll be lenient on in your above posts due to knowing how frustrating this can be. Just please do stop with those remarks, they do no good.
