SW's "Dreadtheft" has absolutely no visible beam

Steps to reproduce: 1 - Make a SW character
2 - Use Dreadtheft when you can.
Bug: SW's "Dreadtheft" has no graphic effects at all.
Notes: The big pretty purplish beam from the PC version is completely missing. It still damages enemies, and still plays a sound like it should be working just fine, but all the graphical effects are just completely gone.
It should also be noted that some people apparently can see the beam, but me and several others can't. It really seems to be split 50/50 for people that can see the beam and can't.
