Hi, I wonder if with the new mod Dev's are going to make slight adjustment to Dragon Hoard Enchantment.
I''m a DC that heals and buffs/debuffs I've got 4 DHE totaling to 8% of probability. My char is built as to support team in any way possible meaning when I solo anything I pay the price of having to fight the mobs longer than any dps player. What pisses me of that for the commitment I've made I get absolutely nothing because heals/buffs/debuffs don't cause my DHE to work so if I join a team doing any dung/skirmish all I get is the joy of being able to play with someone else.
Why bother to play DC then...with new changes when everything can be leveled up even more I'll never be able to drop enough peridots [and likesome rubbish] when playing in team or without exploiting bugs.... I got to the point when I just want to give up my account.
I don't like playing DPS characters so please don't reply that I can change to that. I just want to be able to get some more drops from the fact that when I join the team is to support it and help as much as i can.
I think one of the easy adjustments they can make is let DH proc off any mob kill you contributed to, rather than any mob you actually dealt the death blow to. That would finally make the enchant viable in any group content and take the disadvantage away from the support classes.
You do not have to switch specs just switch encounters and bring out a tanky companion if you need too. Divine glow, Daunting light, and Sunburst work nicely for solo work.

My point is that I want to play in team and get the same benefits as anyone else. I do know how to solo but soloing is not fun.
This is not a DC-specific problem. I imagine anything that's not a CW/SW or incredibly overgeared has the exact same problem, and DCs actually have the advantage over classes like the GF.
DHEs are ideal for solo play, and one could argue that they're pretty much designed to be that way (solo play -> usually worse drops than group play, little things like DHEs makes the grind more bearable). Improving proc rates/the way the proc works for group play is not the answer, it makes more sense to simply ask for better refining stone drops for everyone in a group setting.
With the dungeon redesign thing devs have been giving hints about for the next module, this might be worth bringing up in the preview server feedback section.

If I am not mistaken isnt the drop rate of refining gems lessened by being in group anyway? Like the Waukeen bags? I never run dungeons with hoard enchants as I find it annoying to have to wait on others who loot every trash kill adding 30 minutes to a run.
As far as I know you only get reduced drop rate from doing foundries, everywhere else the drop rate is normal.
