im thinking of maybe getting my friend a lesser plague (60k) worth it?

    its good enchant for DC
    DC do lot of area damage so its works fine
    very good price as well

    Plague and terror are both good. Vorpal is good if you have high crit.

    These. I'm also currently enjoying Hole Avenger on my new leveling DC, too. As for "best" - there isn't any. These are simply "most popular" and popularity is not real indication of genuine usefulness. I recommend you compare all of them, look carefully at what they do and what their cooldowns are and decide for yourself:

    For buffing ally damage:
    Plaguefire
    Terror

    For mitigating enemy damage:
    Holy Avenger
    Frost (it reduces player recovery, but seems to actually stun NPCs - so they deal less damage)

    For maximizing personal dps/healing:
    Vorpal

    My personal opinion, obviously.

    I can vouch for the frost enchantment, in Tiamat this makes defending the cleric so much easier as you see the devils just standing there giving a bit extra time to deal with them. Even for soloing it makes things a bit more comfortable as the start of combat can often be the most dangerous part.

    I've used Frost and Holy, but they have internal cool downs which make them not so great. Frost was great for soloing, as long as you get in close and lead with an AE.

    The summaries above are totally correct. Depends on playstyle and maybe budget.

    Which leads me to my point: I use PTerror - because it was so easy to fill up for upgrading without spending an Astral Rhinestone on RP - just go to Gnarlroot Caves (or send your alts), fry Grimak and get all the necessary RP you need. You'll still have to get Coal Wards and/or consumed enchant duplicates, but filling the bars is cheapest there.

    So far I've never regretted this - PF has higher Dam output (with a delay) and it's debuff has a lower amount and shorter duration. Terror works immediately. Combined with my slightly higher single-target orientation I'm P'lyHappy with my PTerr...

    DC has slower attack speeds so it is more difficult to keep plague fire debuffs up on multiple enemies. Terror is the way to go for ease of use and effectiveness. For the slow attacking DC and the GF as well, terror > plague. For the fast hitting multi proc aoe classes SW and CW, plague is better

    Ok listen to me and no anyone else(joking) :)

    PVE.

    For buff/debuff
    terror(!) or plague

    For super healing ONLY holy(for exactly p.holy is awesome)

    For DPS(!)-("heal"=lame) vorpal.

    PVP.
    terror/plague but i think for pvp plague is the best....

    At what Crit % would you say Vorpal is worth using over all the others? 15%? 25%? For solo purposes, as I'd assume in a group or Tiamat raid Perfect Terror may win out for its debuffing purposes.

    I run with perf. vorpal. If you use the passive with more AP for dmg, your AP regen is really good, due to higher dmg.

    I will make a perf. terror next, to check on the synergy effect of plf/ terror debuff next to the dmg/ heal boost of vorpal.
    Chars: CW, DC, GF, GWF, HR and TR.
