Will Companion influence be fixed in mod 5?

Companion influence stat is broken since it appeared in the Emblem of the Seldarine artifact.
I have it in legendary (450 compaion influence -> 5,5% companion stat bonus) and it only works for the companion BASE stats and the stats provided by Items, runestones and gear you put in the companion is not affected. so is pretty useless, you get +14-15 stats for a precious stat like combat advantage bonus, control resist, action point gain etc.
I saw that in the new offhands you can select this stat too, so I hope is fixed for mod 5.
