Unable to equip first ring on Laughing Skull...

I have tried my own level right as well as my usual level 60 epic ring, but I am unable to equip the first ring on my Laughing Skull. This is highly upsetting. Has anyone else had this problem? He is ranking up quickly and the next equipment spot will soon be opening...

Make it inactive and then active again.
