Transferring AD between toons?

Is there a way to transfer astral diamonds from one of my toons to another?

    You can put up a listing on the AD exchange for 50 AD per 1 Z, then switch to another character and cancel the listing, then withdraw the ADs.


    AFAIK, this isn't against the rules to do. If this is not the case, can a moderator please delete this post.

    If toons are on the same account, use the AD/Zen exchange. Post for amount no one would pay, then cancel. Itll stay in your exchange for your account. Switch over to other character and there is a withdraw AD/Zen button on the menu where the cancelled posting will be stored.

    A character on a diff account, you can but you have to use the AH and lose a bit on the posting fee (if that still exists)

    Buy AD in the exchange for an amount no one will accept, and then cancel it and collect it on the other character. Example: buy 1 Zen for 300 AD each.

    I believe devs have said this is permissible on CO and/or STO forums.

    Yes I remember seeing the dev post confirming this way back a year ago.

    This was actually described and suggested by Neverwinter Moderators back during closed beta, and they had confirmed with devs, which is also why it is in the Economy FAQ in the wiki (link in my signature). If this ever changes in permissibility, someone please let me know so I can remove it from the wiki.

    Side note to OP: Note that you can have up to six separate "listings" (buy orders). Once you cancel a buy order it goes into your account bank, which any character can withdraw from. Also note - if you have any Astral Diamonds in your account bank, ALL buy orders are withdrawn from that account bank BEFORE they are withdrawn from your Character purse (inventory). Some players have been confused by this.

    So to transfer AD from one character to another, your account bank needs to be empty, or you need to play a buy order big enough to cover all in the account bank, plus your character purse. To buy/sell Zen there is a 5000z limit.
