How to play the PvP quue system.

Get a premade by queuing up as 3 or less.

Get only pugs by queuing as a full premade.

This queue system is so messed up.

    this matches precisely what has been happening to me regularly.
    Premades almost all the time when I queue with a friend against people with 15k+ gear scores when we're at 9-10.

    I've given up trying to figure it out. The only thing that seems to happen more
     often then not is you can get a premade if you go as a full premade (or mostly full). Sometimes when I'm puggin' I have to explain this to a group that wants to stay together. Explanation or not they find out what I was jabberin' about in an additional match or two. But at least I can go about my way and keep puggin afterwards as the pug has no self esteem left and will separate.
