Companion Stat cap

I was curious because after stacking certain stats it seemed not to make much of a difference. So I chose power, easily measurable, and with various power equips learned that 100 is the max that adds effectiveness. Anything more just doesn't do anything, with the exception of Hp boosting gear.

So get 100 on all your companion's stats and leave it at that, any higher is just a waste. :(:(:(:(

Yeap, Regen/Lifesteal and some defence. Recover doesn't work for all companions...

I was just wondering, what Companion were you trying this with?
I know that increasing Power has an effect on my Fawn and also SEEMS to have an effect on my Thayan.
I was under the impression that certain Stats were effective for specific Companions, specifically the three that are considered their "Main" Stats.
Of course, I may very well be wrong in this. I mostly just run with a Stone (those bonuses are AWESOME at low levels).

Druid, which is all damage, so power is one of his main stats. I dropped a 250 belt on him with a 120 power enchantment with no effect. He had 125 before I added the belt.

As for the Fawn her skill is based on Power and .. Regeneration I believe it was. So getting those two as high as possible is a thing I plan to do once I've saved up that 200k. p..q It's so hard to get diamonds when your poor.

If you put that off for a day or so, I have a Fawn and will get you some numbers when I can.
Just let me know what you want.

Recovery actually works for companions. In my tests, 1000 Recovery reduced the cooldown of my companion's encounter power by 2 seconds.

O.K. I tried my Fawn with a set of belts and rings that gave him about 750 Power and 500 Regen. and then again without.
A allowed myself to be beaten down by identical groups of Gnomes in Sharendar.
WITH the gear my character healed for 479 per tick in the circle.
WITHOUT the gear he healed for 229 per tick.
    So there is a difference.
Also note that this is an upgraded LvL 25 Blue Fawn.

I think the issue may be that the actual RESULTS of Stat. increases may be different than appears on the Character Sheets.

As for Power's effectiveness on healer companions, it does boost up their healing. But there seems to be a soft cap in Power's effectiveness on Lillend's healing. After upgrading her three Radiant Enchantments and three Empowered Runestones from rank 6 to rank 7, I only saw unusually little increase in her healing.

Ah so it may make a difference, just less effect the higher you go.
