No, your post is not abrupt at all. Pre-CTA, I was waiting about 2 to 3 min max to get into PVP. Now it's back to the way it was after the 3/6/14 patch. I've been waiting for 15 min and still not into PVP and it's during the PVP event. WTH???

    They should:
    - make current ELO public and any gains or losses go to console text
    - make ELO ladders that reset weekly with prizes
    - make ELO gains / losses dependant on your team and enemy team current ELO (lose less when you have to fight tough team and lose, but gain more if you win and vice versa) AND also tie glory gain into this.
    - ELO of every player visible on X screen during match

    >Then relax the requirements of max elo difference between players / teams so matches start much faster.

Everyone will then know exactly how ELO works and be sure it works. Right now hardly anyone believes we have any ELO based matches - all we see is long wait times.

Agree with most of this. Just want to see the ladder. That will solve most of this. The ELO was tightened up again because pugs kept complaining. Now I have guildees that only get to fight the same two groups over and over. Is it that hard to find a middle ground??

5-10 min queues for 80% balanced matches? Can we agree somewhere in there?

I would have no problems with any of this either except maybe the resetting of the ladders. if ELO resets on say Sunday at midnight that means Monday and probably Tuesday are going to include a large number of very unbalanced matches as the rating is no longer there to skew to even match ups.

Yea I put that reset in stupidly... as long as gains aren't bigger then losses so you can move up and down a ladder at same speed depending on how you play no reset is needed. (or better said you use previous weeks ELO as a starting point in the new week for fair matches)

Wait for a 30 mins queue earlier.

We are 5 man premade, got a 4 man premade on the other side.

I would not say it is a close match but at least it is better than stomping 12k gs clueless pug.

If they can keep the match quality high, I would not mind a longer queue time, but as in now the matchmaking is still really unreliable.

The weekly prizes would be an interesting idea but I am not sure how you would balance it to prevent the rage from PVE only players.

It's probably because now that folks can't drop from bad matches there are less folks starting up new matches now.
