Why the change to Icy Rays- bugged, or working like you intended?

Curious what the reasons were to throw our Icy Rays spell through the shredder after so long. Is it bugged- or is it 'working' as you intended? Because if it is- it was a lousy change. You've seriously obliterated it's performance and value in the spell table. Which hurts cw''s in boss fights where they need big single target damage. I won't even slot it anymore.

It used to fire multiple times and do nice damage. Now- it marks once, hits once- and for NOWHERE near the numbers it used to, and goes straight to cooldown. I messed with it for nearly half an hour today while watching the numbers in my logs, and slotting it both on tab and Q slot on the bar. As well as trying switching out always-active class features. It worked better before you made the decision to hose it up- for 'whatever' reason...

Poor change- and no thanks for weakening our arsenal and once again cutting our overall DPS capabilities.

    I usually never use icy rays in PvE. But in PvP it is very effective, since it basically gives a free root which can not be dodged. No idea if this is intended, but I hope that it will be dodgeable in future.
    Suggestions to improve NW:
    - Dualspec
    - Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
    - Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
    - Armory
    - make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)

    I'm not sure what you are talking about but the changes to Icy Ray were all positive. The damage has not changed just the fact that it used to require 3 or more button presses to go off when it should have worked as it does now.
